She did a great job at keeping track of all the pertinent information and organizing all of the new and changing information, as it became available. She was able to put my case together in a very clear and concise manor that made sense to us, the opposing counsel, and the judge. When Lisa is on a case against me, I know that it will not be an ugly fight, but a continued discussion of what is best for all involved. Lisa is one of the few attorneys who is able to have a real talk with her clients and tell them exactly what to expect, even if they don't want to hear it. I have also used her mediation services and have been more than happy with her work. She ensures that only the parties are the ones to attend/participate in mediation, and she challenges them to consider alternative views and options. If I needed to hire an attorney, I would not hesitate to hire Lisa.

Regarding parenting/custody case issues: I would not recommend Lisa to anyone who hopes to come to a mutual agreement during mediation. First of all, she showed up 30 minutes late for the appointment and didn't even offer an apology. Secondly, as the wife to one of the interested parties, I was excluded from mediation as she said "I don't allow third parties in the room." To which I responded, "oh. I wish I would have been made aware of that so that I did not take half a day off from work. Neither your website nor the letter that you sent out to all three of us stated that." She very rudely and sarcastically shrugged her shoulders at me and said "sorry." I did not find that to be very professional. Also, after the mediation and speaking with my husband, it seems as though Lisa does not understand Colorado school districts, their requirements as well as how to read and interpret teacher effectiveness and growth. This is critical because the mediation was to determine which school and district the child would attend. During the time that I was waiting, I spoke with two previous clients who described Lisa as "very mother-friendly regardless of the best interest of the children." They also mentioned other dislikes such as financial gain but that was not a concern of mine as it did not pertain to my situation.

I began my high-conflict divorce/custody case with Lisa and was initially excited to work with her however I was let down time and time again. It took weeks to get a return phone call or email. She ignored multiple requests and she didn’t even show up to one hearing. She’s a sweet person but time management is definitely not her strong suit. In the end I had to retain a different attorney to complete my case.

Associate Kristin Muscato is amazing!! She is an attorney with heart, who will go above and beyond to help you. She cares for her clients, and will do what she can, she if very organized and professional meeting each of her clients right where they are.

This was by far the worst experience i have ever had with a service. Especially a service that entailed children. I hired Lisa Wiebel to help get and keep my son in my life. I was told her that she has years of experience in child custody. I highly advice you everyone to think twice before you hire her to help with anything related to children. She used up my entire retainer and got nothing done. I still haven't seen my son and she has been working for me for me OVER a YEAR. I really feel like i got my money stolen.Actually it was stolen bc i got nothing for my money. She would never return my calls or emails. It took me between 2-4 weeks to hear back from her. Even after calling multiple times a week and leaving messages. This situation has made me so mad and so sad. I gave her all the money i had to try and get my son back in my life. By the grace of god i was able to afford another lawyer. I hired another lawyer about 3 weeks ago now and im schedule to see my son by the end of the month. Also i might add that i hired Lisa and had already filed all the paper work that needed to be filed to start this process. I had already came to agreement with the other party on child support. She literally just had to get visitation set up. COULD NOT DO IT. I dont like talking badly about anyone but i feel people need to know this because i know how it feels to give all your money to someone after they tell you they will do certain things for you and not one thing was done. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!
