To start I want to say for those who don't know, legal cases can take a long time from start to finish. I had a tragic incident happen to a loved one in 2014 which is when I hired Friedman Law. I didn't know what to expect when I first made that call but Dan was very detail oriented in explaining the process and all the ins and outs when we first met for the consultation. He was very up front with me from the very beginning telling me this was going to be a tough case and what I could expect, he was very objective throughout the whole litigation so I was never caught off guard by anything. After awhile Steve Sael was brought on to the case to assist. Let me say having Dan and Steve working on this was a huge blessing. I worked with Steve Sael following my truck accident (hit broadside, totally my truck and injuring my shoulder/wrist), and I have to say my experience was more than I expected.
I work for an insurance company so I know something how it all works. But Steve was patient, and very encouraging with me as we went through the process. He explained everything to me fully so I understood why we were doing what we were doing, the possible outcomes, and always said he would do what I wanted (after explaining the different options, etc., he would ask me what I wanted to go forward with.).\
Steve also has a common interest in one of my hobbies--cycling-so our conversations also were about cycling. I appreciated that I was not just another customer, but a fellow cyclist and we could put the business talk to the side some and just chat. I never felt like just a "client."
Our settlement was appropriate, settlement was quick ( again I know how these can drag out--form my experience working in insurance) and the overall experience with Steve and Friedmann Law was wonderful.

I feel very, very lucky to have had Dan represent me. I was in a horrific bike accident (a car hit me). I was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Dan actually came to the hospital to talk me bedside! After my wife and I discovered that the insurance company for the vehicle that caused injury to our automobile was not going to give us a fair settlement we contacted Friedman Law -- just a few days before our ability to file a lawsuit was to expire. I was hesitant to get an attorney after my accident where a distracted driver ran a red light and basically t-boned my car. But when the insurance company would not call me back, I realized I needed an attorney to help me through the process and it was the best decision. I worked with Dan Friedman and he was so encouraging through the entire process, always prioritizing getting me the best care for my neck injury and advocating for me every step of the way.

Dan was always quick to answer any question I had and his staff was so very helpful whenever I needed assistance. Not very friendly over the phone, verging on rude. The way someone acts to me the first time I speak to them over the phone gives a lasting impression, and my impression is that the gentleman I spoke with (Stan) was unnecessarily curt and condescending to me. I will not be calling them back. He told me a notification that I was involved in a Class Action Lawsuit sounded like fraud without listening to anything I had to say, when in fact it is not: The case is Powers et al. v. Credit Management Services Inc. et al., case number 8:11-cv-00436, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. Just FYI
