I originally found Hansen Law Offices through Google and his website had a lot of helpful information -- reviews, awards, and bio information on him and the experience he has. I was a client of Peter Hansen a few weeks ago for some criminal issues (assault and drug possession) I was facing near the Des Moines area. Peter was caring, smart, intense and helpful. He went through all of the details with me and explained things really well each time I went into his office. Peter was very intelligent with the arguments he made and is really straightforward in his approach (I reviewed his legal documents before he sent them off). I felt like he wasn't only a lawyer, but a coach as well. He helped me say the right things and helped me write letters to other people involved in my case. He always asked for my input and made sure I was clear on what to do. He also caught some of the police being liars when he interviewed them which was like a cherry on top of the whole thing. This is an attorney that knows personal injury law. I had a car accident awhile back and did a lot of research and asking around before I decided on legal representation. You can't make a quick decision on something like this because it is so important to have someone who understands the ins and outs of car accident/insurance law. Peter got two great experts that cost a lot of money and even got another lawyer involved who knew a lot about the testing of the airbags. He was upfront and told me that it would be best to have someone who had more experience with faulty airbags since it would only strengthen the case. I like how honest and forthcoming he was on this issue and didn't lead me on. Look no further than Hansen Law Offices if you are ever in need of a great and compassionate attorney!!
