She's a very awesome lady. And is good at what she does. And is fighting for my case.

Cynthia Smith was the GAL on our case and took an unbelievable number of months to follow-up with even the therapist, failed to show-up for a status hearing, failed to contact both sides of the parties, and in many cases simply showed bias and a lack of integrity as an attorney. Also lied in her report. This woman should not only be removed as a GAL to the court, but shouldn't even be allowed to practice law.

Just walked out of the final hearing on a multiple day divorce proceeding; and wanted to give a true and accurate review of Mrs. Smith's performance. When I began searching for a divorce attorney, I read many Google reviews and noticed that so many reviews were biased by there settlement in the divorce (whether favorable or unfavorable). Therefore I am making my review prior to the judge's decision in order to show no bias and give Mrs. Smith the proper credit she is due. She is an excellent experienced attorney; and I would highly recommend her. I could not be more pleased with her performance in the courtroom and knowledge of the law. Her cross examination was excellent and really displayed her experience in divorce proceedings. In comparison between both attorneys; it was obvious Mrs. Smith was much more skilled at how to properly question a witness. In truth I feel that if my wife and I had gone to Mrs. Smith for divorce mediation in the beginning; it would have prevented a lot of wasted money on the divorce proceedings as a whole. She is highly skilled in her trade and does not suffer fools. The only negative I would say at this point is that she is not easy to get on the phone with. However, that speaks more to her level of business and demand. I would rather have a busy attorney (like her) than an attorney who answers the office phone personally, remembers every case detail weeks later, and pretends they are a shoulder to cry on. Her office staff did a very impressive job as well. Although I don't remember all their names (one was Mary Fraser:) they remembered mine every time. Every document and courtroom scheduling time were e-mailed quickly and completely; so that I was never wondering what next (or when I was needed to be present in court). Divorces are expensive, attorneys are expensive, but I am. thankful I chose her to represent me.
Fantastic in my cases I needed her twice for same issue about 10 years apart. Last time I used her she was opening up a new office. She told me come by take a look at her office sometime which I found very kind especially since I have never been in the high social or economic level and if I had to by water with my looks well I might be bit thirsty naw average joe that’s me which usually don’t get those kind of invites. Fine work my case known as the mans attorney for divorce cases

Could not agree more with the previous reviews, exactly as they describe. She made me want to seek another attorney to sue her for her services, or lack thereof, and based on the ethical responsibilities of attorneys, I could have probably won. Utterly awful representation, she was on her phone the entire time during my mediation while the other attorney grilled me and purposefully tried to frustrate me, all while the moderator didn't control the session/situation. Extremely disorganized, I had to remind her about issues regarding my case multiple times; requested by email/phone for answers to the same questions multiple times (which costs money); had to give her my phone number several times because she didn't have it; billing notification was confusing and misleading after I was told in the beginning "not to worry, we'll charge you the remaining balance at the end", I was then charged late fees without knowing and when I called to refute the late charges, she dropped me as a client due to break down in "attorney/client relationship". Typical car salesman in her office, talks a great game, with absolutely zero follow through.

Fantastic Attorney. Cynthia was recommended to me by an attorney in Indianapolis and I could not be happier with her work.

One of my worst experiences ever, I was reluctant to even give this business a full star. Cindy did nothing for my case except tried to drag it out to collect more attorney fees. Their communication in this office is horrible and they over charge you. My ex-husband whose attorney done all the work and drew up all the ppwk paid was charged $1300 less. Very disappointed as she knew I was struggling from the time I walked in her office and she does not care. Complete waist of time because at the end she withdrew from my case.

You are not important to her. Her assistant and her were awful, they did not care about anything that was going on. Charged a ton of money for not doing anything. Worst lawyer I have worked with.

Horrible at communicating with client, always seems annoyed when contacted to find out the status of the case. Great face to face meeting, but future interactions are sparse and appears disinterested in you and your needs. She is very knowledgable about the law, but has poor client service.

Would not answer us and when she did felt as if we were annoying her, by the end of the case felt as if she was working for the other side.
