Keep getting letters of failure from debtor to file documents that i either didnt receive or was told it was standard practice! Based on the advice i was given, now im being told that after five years of paying off my bankruptcy, i won’t be discharged! I’m walking to work because i can’t get a loan till the discharge goes thru and the lawyer will not respond!

Stay far away. They did nothing to help me. They were supposed to help me with a credit card company who sued me. Now my wages are about to be garnished. So what did they accomplish for me? This company is a joke.

Did the job, but not what you would call simpatico. Their cold, demanding attitude when I struggled to make the final payment for my case (credit card debt) triggered an impressive burst of anger in me during which I wrote them an email saying things I probably shouldn't have said, but which made me feel a damn sight better after I said them. No doubt miffed because I was a live one who wouldn't take their s**t, they then washed their hands of me, even telling me to forget about the last payment. Amazing what happens when you stand up to bullies. Anyway, I guess they're all right professionally, but that's it--all business. Don't expect any personality, or unnecessary conversation. They're frigid, poker-faced robots.

I was being sued for a small amount by a credit card company after I missed two payments (this is happening more with companies) after a small financial hardship. I went there because they sent me something in the mail saying I NEEDED legal representation. Having never been in a spot like this before, I fell for it. I went in and was telling them I’ll pay the full balance to the company, but they refused and tried to talk me into claiming bankruptcy for the next hour, no matter how much I told them I would not. They literally had all the paperwork laid out on the table as if they were expecting me to file and planned on it, and two separate lawyers were in there trying to intimidate me into something I did not go there for. Then after taking several hundreds of dollars from me for their service, I NEVER heard from them. I had to call constantly to get updates, even after the court date passed. I never once got the lawyers I spoke with on the phone, only a receptionist. Come to find out from the card company, they never went to bat for me and I still ended up paying the exact same amount that I owed. These people are so unprofessional and do not care about you, please be careful when looking for legal representation.

Secretaries are awfully rude. They tell you call backs take about 24-48 hours and i've been waiting over 120 hours. I would find a new attorney. Also they scheduled us a consultation and the attorney even walked out of the office making us wait for over 2 hours.

They didn't guide me through the process or explain any thing. Basically they use you for the benefit of them and the chiropractor that advertises them. I came out short they came out happy. As a lawyer you explain, whats necessary and whats not, so your client will recieve the best. If you want your best interest considered. Then DONT CONSIDER THEM. Word of mouth and social media is powerful I'll be using both to make sure no one else gets robbed like I did! My state farm settlement offered more than I got from using this company next time I'll settle. Guarentee never to use them again... neither will anyone who will hear about this business on my social media.

The lawyers there never could answer my questions. They didn’t return my calls or emails. They did not give me counsel and I ended up making bad decisions based on their poor counsel. They charged over $4,000 and provided very poor service. They couldn’t answer how my school loans would be handled. They couldn’t answer how my foreclosure could be handled. I would not recommend anyone to use them. I guess you don’t know what poor legal service is until you get it. This is not my real name because I am still a client with them in my chap 13. But please seek other counsel.

My husband used them and it was fine, so when we had a accident, we decided to just use them again. Apparently, the lawyer we previously had was no longer there. We had the worst experience! They didn’t respond or do anything in a timely manner. They expected me to do a bunch of the gathering of information. The case took way longer than it should have. I had bill collectors still calling me about my medical bills that were supposed to have been paid out already because the money had already been dispersed. I had to call the lawyers to make sure they were paid. One of my doctors had to approach me saying she jad call and left messages over a dozen times with no response about payment. I had to call the lawyers to ask why she hadn’t been responded to or paid. I do not recommend them especially if you have never had to deal with any legal issues and are expecting them to walk you through it and handle everything for you. We had to do a lot of the work and probably could have negotiated a settlement better on our own. Hire someone else, anyone else.

Not impressed. VERY unprofessional. The amount of time it takes for a response is slow. The amount of time it takes for results is even slower. EVERY time I have called I have been told that the attorney is "on the phone can I take a message", that gets rather old. Also, important information that I shared with the attorney that should have been noted was not. A month later the attorney had no idea and did not recall the previous conversation about my accident claim. I suggest that you find someone else... I can't wait for this to be over. I was ready to settle at the beginning of November, it is now March 10th and I am STILL waiting. Not on the insurance company.. I'm waiting for the attorney to do their job!

I really love Amourgis & Associates! After handling my case, they have saved me over $500,000. They fought an ugly foreclosure and kept us in our family home. They stripped away a high interest Second Mortgage. Moreover, their excellent Bankruptcy representation will clean up our credit and stop the debt collectors in their tracks.

We are going thru a foreclosure ... and for some reason this law firm sent us a letter stating that they could help us! We called them and they just blew us off.... never returned our call or nothing. When I just looked them up here they specialize in personal injury ... if your going to ambulance chase -- at least chase in the area you specialize in don't waste peoples time and trees on a case that you have no intentions of reacting to.

This is the worst firm i have ever experienced. The president is a snake and just wants your money. He does not care about the quality of service he puts out. Please do not use this firm as you will regret it.

Amourgis & associates is by far the worst decision you can make when it comes to choosing representation for accident and injury claims. there not really professional they're never in the office and dont return calls. they are not good with handling situations when it comes to fighting for you all they are worried about is there cut so if u walk away with nothing they wont care thats why there cheaper than the normal 33% most lawyers want this isnt just what happend to me but others too and they make your process really long
