Tom DiCaudo, what can I say? First off he's a lawyer who makes you feel like he cares about you and your case. He also gets back to you fast, when you have questions.
So here's a little about my story. I was facing some pretty serious charges that would hurt my career as a chef and have some serious prison time. I had a f3,f4,m1,ovi,and my whole case was based on the arresting officers dash cam . I felt they had no probable cause or the right to search my vehicle without proper consent. After the arignment, pretrial, and second pretrial my first lawyer kept saying he'll get the video and a copy of the discovery . So after 4 months later, still no video or discovery. I started to feel like they were holding the video intentionally. So I decided to change lawyers.

Then I started checking google for good lawyers. Most had at the time 10 -15 reviews- half good half bad. Then I saw Tom DiCaudo's firm. I called him about my case and set appointment for a free one on one consult .

After hearing his past experience as a prosecutor and knowing the ins and outs of a court room, he went on to explain that it takes a special type of lawyer to cross exam police and fill out the proper paperwork and deal with prosecutors from being one himself. To clarify this,let's just say as soon as the prosecutor saw my new lawyer, he himself called Tom saying he's getting the Discovery ready for him. So now it's my pre-trial and I wasn't expecting much because we were going to ask for a continuence to get Tom caught up, get the video, Discovery and set a new court date.
Tom must have super powers because as soon as he walked in the court room,the prosecutor got up and walked over to Tom. They talked for a few minuets. Then Tom waved to talk outside the court room, to tell me all charges dismissed, just plead guilty to m1. I was charged no fines and got my license back. Tom and his firm are the best lawyers in Ohio , hands down..

Tom DiCaudo is amazing. I had blown a tire and went to change it. While I was fixing my car two police officers had approached and asked if I had been drinking. I replied no and refused to take a breathalyzer. My car had incured extensive damage from the tire blowout and had to be towed. The police officer then arrested me and charged me with an OVI. I have never been charged with such a crime before. I took my charge to court and Tom was able to drop the charge to a failure to control. A failure to control doesnt even put any points on my licence as opposed to a OVI that would have ruined my life. Anytime I asked my friends of their similar experiences they told me they had a great lawyer and recommended them but they still recieved an OVI. They did only recieve minimum punishment for them. Tom actually dismissed my OVI. He will be more expensive but worth every penny.

Thomas DiCaudo is not worth your time or money, Compared to what was written i got the worst representation as a person as a client which got me thinking there must be something absolutely wrong herein with all this reviews. All he was interested in was to settle the case as quickly as possible maybe thats is the true legal system. If there was a rating less than 1 star i would give him, He deliberately ignored my phone calls never gave me an audience to even discuss the case in my opinion a prosecutor will forever be a prosecutor you are better off representing yourself than hiring this guy.

If you are in need for representation in an OVI/DUI case Tome DiCaudo is the person you want defending you. In short, I was facing a multiple offense situation that had the potential of landing me in jail for a minimum of several months. Needless to say, I was distraught over the situation I found myself in. Tom and his entire office helped by first being available for me through the entire ordeal. He initially looked at my case, and proposed the strategy he would use. He then assured me he would be willing to fight for me on all points. He definitely lived up to his word. Tom argued that the BAC test that I submitted to was not performed in proper time frame and it was suppressed from my case. He remained steadfast in his resolve to take the case to trial if needed. After prolonged negotiation, and presenting the steps I was taking in my life to the court my charges were reduced to a reckless operation. Instead of spending significant time away from my family I was ordered to a 3 day intervention program. Instead of DUI plates and an interlock device on my car my license suspension was lifted. This outcome was far better than I was expecting when I walked into his office feeling pretty beaten up. I am grateful that I followed the advice of a similar review posted by one of Tom's former clients.

I was charged with an OVI in Akron. I was scared and did not know what to expect. I was referred to Tom DiCaudo who met with me the same day I called him. He spent over an hour with me and my fiancée telling us exactly what to expect. He did not promise me anything but he definitely came through.
