Once I pointed out a significant error I was avoided and then weeks later after emails and phone calls, I finally received a voicemail from Tad still lying. Look anywhere else unless you want to waste time, money, and your energy. I was charged a retainer fee of $3,500 initially the Hoover Kacyon office to start my case, along with another $2,500 for another case as well. Initially, Jordan Knabb started my case and inspired confidence and made me feel like I was in good hands. After 3 weeks of no contact and several emails to Jordan, I called the office to find out where my file was at and found that Jordan had accepted a job as a prosecutor and that nobody had bothered to reach out and keep me updated. I was then put with Tad Hoover, who was a managing partner, and told me he would handle my entire case and keep in contact. Throughout the process, I have left multiple messages and had the office put me on the books for him to call me on at least 4 separate occasions. After calling his cell phone and their office 3 separate days in the same week after he had missed our appointments for him to call me, I had found out that he had lost yet another motion that he told me he was extremely confident in. As bad as that was, he ignored me for 4 days before having someone else from their office call to deliver the bad news. I am now finding new representation due to the fact either Tad has been lying to me about my case, or simply does not know what he is doing but I have now already spent $6,000 and have to spend more money to find someone who will actually help. It has been 2 weeks of trying to get my files from their office with them telling me “it will be ready early next week” and then coming up with excuses for delays and not taking my phone calls. I cannot express how strongly I DO NOT RECOMMEND working with this office as they are unorganized and have no concept of customer service. It has been by far the worst service I have ever had for anything, which is absolutely ridiculous considering the fact I had already paid for the service. I am disappointed I didn’t read other reviews of the terrible service that Tad Hoover had provided to previous clients as it looks like ALL negative reviews are in reference to him specifically. I truly hope that others will read this review and look elsewhere before paying any money to them and then being left in the same situation as I am.

I hired Tad Hoover and Chad Hernstien to represent me about my divorce decree and my children being being abused.When i found out my ex wifes bf has warrants and severe criminal record both atyonreys did nothing and wouldnt do what i wanted or what i hired them to do.When i first met both attorneys they both feed me a story about how diligent they would fight to protect my kids and it was just that a line like a car saleman.NOTHING EITHER CHAD HERNSTIEN OR TAD HOOVER SAID WAS DONE.In fact they changed our original contract and forged my signature on a contract i did not sign so they could try and charge me more money too bad they werent counting on me having pictures of my original contract and our initial consult where they told me they wouldnt charge by the hr because i am disabled and have no constant income.THE ATTORNEYS LIED TO ME EVERY CHANCE THEY GOT THEY LIED ABOUT FILLINGS THAT WERE NEVER MADE,they lied about billing for time that was not accurate like sying we talked for 30 min amd billing me for 30 min yet my phone records say we only talked for 7 min.They would tell me that my bills being sent with threats to not be my attonreys was auto genrated when in fact there bills are done by and actual person they would threaten me and than email me telling me oh dont worry those bills are auto generated.Plus they were hired to handle a qudro and they told me when i hired them of we do these all the time u wilmgwt your money in a week to a mnth guess what 4 mnths later i still

Everyone there was sooo nice and available to answer questions. I was well informed and the firm represented me well! I got everything I wanted from my ex. I had the displeasure of meeting Miss Six retaining her firm. I severed ties with them almost immediately but was billed $270.50 for trivial attorney fees and another $105 to use my credit card to put the retainer down. While I have issue with the fees I have more of an issue with the fact I called the office for nine days to speak to Miss Six or someone in charge and was given the runaround, diverted to Voicemail or promised I would be receiving a return call that never came. This firm is unresponsive and plain lazy. I retained Tad Hoover for what should have been a simple matter, instead Mr. Hoover failed to return my phone calls, failed to put on any meaningful evidence in court, and filed a short, sloppy, and unpersuasive motion with the court. Unsurprisingly, I lost my case and had to retain a different attorney to appeal the matter.

Jordan Knab started out working on my case. From the start it was not a good experience. He filed paperwork from the court under with the wrong name and nobody at the firm caught the mistake..... I did! His lack of experience showed when he quickly ate up my $3,000 retainer. After the initial appearance at the courthouse it was clear to me that he had little to no experience with the lack of information he had about my case and how he represented me in the courtroom. After that hearing I had emailed my concerns to Corinne and she had agreed to take over my case. She also agreed to credit some of the retainer back from when Jordan was assigned to my case which I was thankful for until I only received $297.50 of the initial $3,000 retainer. Now my case was not complete and the firm sent me an email hours before our next court hearing stating that unless I paid another $2,500 retainer they would not be there to represent me. I brought a check to the courthouse for the amount they requested to retain their services to finish the case. At the final hearing date I was guided by my counsel to accept a support number that was below the calculated amount because the magistrate assigned to our case is known for being unpredictable. I took the guidance of my counsel and we settled the case. A month later I had seen that there was a credit on child support and went back to review the order.... The date of the reduced child support was back dated from June 2018 and my counsel never caught it! I emailed Corinne about this and I never recieved a response. They closed out my case and although I did get a refund of $1,378.30 after all their fees I did end up paying them a total of $4,121.70 to have less time with my child and then the opposing side got a $2,000 credit on support. My experience at this firm cost me $6,121.70 right off the bat and another $4,830 in lost support over the next 3-1/2 years totally nearly $11,000. I went into this with GAL recommendations of my son staying with me and an schedule to back that and came out with a 50/50 shared parenting schedule. All around disappointed with the outcome and experience of this law firm.

Not very happy with my representation. I feel the council that came with me on my initial hearing was not prepared for my hearing. They did not request what I had discussed with my lawyer. Because of that I had to dismiss my case. I spent over a week trying to contact my lawyer. His office repeatedly said he was on a call or in a meeting and that he would call me back in five minutes. I was never contacted by my my lawyer again. I had to finally contact another lawyer in the firm to get my case dismissed. All in all I feel grossly underrepresented and overcharged. Even the final bill I just recieved today, it was printed 12/14/17 due 12/29/17. It was postmarked 12/21/17 so I recieved it 5 days before it was due. I hope this review will help others keep from making the same mistake I made which cost me thousands of dollars. They even carged me $20 when I called to make sure they got my message to dismiss the case.
