This law firm is going to be the best example when looking up MALPRACTICE! Despite me paying 2 k to represent me in divorce court, no one showed up for the scheduled hearing!!! Kevin Cox didnt even research the docket regarding my case and thus did not attend the hearing. The magistrate called the McCleery office in response and Greg, Kevin or any other staff was not sent across the street to represent me. The results are appaling!! I experienced the biggest panic attack ever in my life when Kevin Cox disclosed the results! My children became scared and distraught seeing their dad this unplesant! I was unable to verbalize my problem to them which further made them upset. They were picked up by family to be in a better environment at that time. I am truly shocked that this so called law firm had the nerve to offer me 5 out of 36K in reimbursement!!! I was unwilling to accept this so called offer in efforts to make up for their negligence!! I therefore got in touch with Dan Guinn who had represented my ex wife during this case for advice. Not only did he provide the best advice i had heard since hiring Kevin Cox and firm! Dan has since worked harder in the past 7 days in assisting me with a lawsuit against Kevin and the McCleery law firm than they put into my case over a 2 month period!!! Im certainly glad i called Mr. Guinn because i finally got to see what it feels like having someone actually work FOR ME instead of against me like Kevin Cox! Hiring this law firm has been tied with the biggest mistake I have ever made!!!! I am seeking justice and they offer a mere 10%??? The McCleery law firm is corrupt and thanks to Dan Guinn and company the public will finally be more aware of this fact!

I have hired several attorneys over the past year for varies reasons but i am by far beyond happy and impressed with the McCleary law firm I obtained Keith Young after my Husband has violated my dvcpo not on by not obeying court orders and showing up for contempt of court hearings and calling and harassing me by harassing and telling me he was going to kill me. After a contempt of hearing by the magistrate my husband hired a attorney to fight her decision. Mr young took my case got a motion for a phone hearing denied that my husband's attorney tried to file since my husband lives out of state and refuses to obey any court decision. He is passionate caring and this law firm is by far the best i have ever hired and will continue to use them for all my legal needs. Every staff member i have spoke to is kind polite and professional. Keith went to bat for me and he will go to bat for you. Words can not express how amazing this law firm is I only wish I found them earlier. Thank you for being the best at what you all do not only professionally but with compassion and always going that extra mile to explain questions and be quick to return phone calls and quick to file motions and to fight for all your clients. This law firm deserves more than a five star rating.

This legal team is amazing! I've spoke and dealt with several associates there, always helpful, quick with an answer or a reply. And if they didn't have the answer, willing to help figure it out or find out where to go to find information. I highly suggest anyone looking for legal assistance to contact this office immediately. Excellent service!

We moved from a local trailer park after 10 years of residency. We followed the directions of management, gave them ample notice, and they still sued us months later when the new owner of the trailer did not complete contractual duties to have the trailer removed from the park. We contacted at least a dozen attorneys. None would take our case. We even had one attorney tell us we "could not afford" him. Other attorneys choose to represent corporate clients only leaving the little guy, like us, on their own.

I was familiar with who Mr. McCleery was because I had had interactions with him at a previous place of employment. I took the chance and gave him a call. Mr. McCleery called me on a holiday to assure me we had a good case and he was willing to represent us. (This was impressive because most people won't work on a holiday!) He took the time to listen to all of our concerns and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.

Greg McCleery was able to get the trailer park to drop their case against us through his diligent work and knowledge of laws regarding this case.

Mr. McCleery and his staff truly care about the average person and the outcome of their cases. I have worked with a lot of different professionals /attorneys in my life and he, by far, tops the chart when it comes to professionalism, caring, and wanting the best outcome. He was not in this for a paycheck. He truly cared about what was happening to us. If you need an attorney give him a call. You will not be disappointed. Mr. McCleery represented me for almost a full year in a case where I was falsely accused of domestic violence and the subsequent custody battle as well. Mr. McCleery and Mr. Morris were both always highly professional. Mr. McCleery has the incredible ability to break down confusing legal jargon into an every day working man's language (I am a factory worker). He also dealt with my family incredibly well, addressing their concerns and frustrations with both empathy and a deep knowledge of the law. Mr. McCleery and Mr. Morris also did a great job of keeping me informed of any developments and also reminding me of court times. In the courtroom, Mr. McCleery really shined with his knowledge of the law and his preparedness for multiple lines of questioning.

Mr. McCleery was also always very clear on what I could expect in terms of end results in both the criminal and custody case. He never once sold me on false promises and instead gave me multiple options in what way he could represent my interests in the courtroom. He was also very open and honest with my family which I really appreciated as they can expect too much. In the end, all charges against me were dismissed and I got full custody of my son and visitation with my non-biological daughter. I could not possibly have expected more. I highly recommend McCleery Law Firm, they will be open and honest with you, operate professionally, in a timely manner and never sell you on false hope but instead be clear with what to expect as long as you are equally as open and honest with them. Sadly, our grandson passed away before we could even get to court but these attorneys did their best in the few short days that our little newborn grandson had to live.

We could have only wished we had gotten Mr. McCleary instead they put our son with Kevin Cox. I've not dealt with many lawyers but this guy is a joke if you ask me. Our son paid all the money that was asked in Aug '18 to have legal issues taken care of with his kids, to this day NOTHING! Went to court Jan29'19, support was to be held in escrow as both shared custody, then returned to finalize everything in April 23rd I believe, still to this day not ONE, certified letter, or any letter has been received in the mail, Nothing is finalized and other party did not show to either hearing, support (alot) is going to other parent, the children have been in very serious situations that were NEVER addressed by a guardian adlightum, magistrate, NOBODY!! After many texts & phone calls the only answer you get is "oh well ill have to see what the hold up is, we are waiting on judge to sign". REALLY!! And people wonder why kids act out, run away or worse. I've heard nothing but good for Mr.McCleary but I will never recommend Cox. I have personally talked to him & He's mam this mam that & pretends to have concern. Lies. Nope I'm so very disappointed that my grandchildren has had nobody that cared about their wellbeing.

From the time I got in touch with McCleery law firm for my fiance's custody case they were absolutely amazing in giving all the information we needed, when we met with a few of the attorneys in the office we walked in and they were very nice and greeted us with kindness. I really recommend this law firm for any obstacle you may have. We are very pleased with how things are going and being handled. There are offices in New Philadelphia, Cadiz, Millersburg, Carrollton and Coshocton.

From the moment I walked into McCleery Law Firm to discuss my divorce, Ashley McCleery has made me feel like family and is very kind at my weakest moments. She and her husband Attorney Greg McCleery who represents me listened to hear and not just to respond. Attorney, Kevin Cox had excellent analytical skills and was able to readily make sense of a large volume of information. WESLEY Morris and the support staff are very creative and able to think of reasonable solutions when problems and unique situations arise. The entire TEAM at McCleery Law Firm show a stellar emotional response whereby they perceived my dilemmas and authentically, genuinely want to support me in resolving my divorce issues. Attorney, MONICA Deramus is a strong, leader that shows perseverance and I’m blessed to have her represent me.

Kevin Cox is a horrible Attorney and should be reported. He misses deadlines and then lies to cover his tracks. Do not hire this law firm.

John Watters represented me in a legal matter in which I loaned some one my car and their actions caused my car to be impounded..the court was not releasing my car to me even though I was not involved with nor being charged with any crime! John worked really hard and fought for my rights and got all the fees; which totaled over 1000 dollars waived!! Words could never describe how grateful I am for John and his dedication to my case!!

Greg was so helpful and efficient. He was able to do in one court date, what my previous attorney had been unable to accomplish with several court dates and extensions.

Gregg I thought was a good lawyer at first, Until I fired him is when I found out how badly of a job he had done. How deep he actually sunk me and how little fight he had to protect me and my children! I got all my transcripts back and as I read through, he wasn't there at all, as these lawyers tore me to pieces behind closed doors he let that happen, if I knew then what I know now I would have never entrusted Gregg with the lives of my children and myself from an abusive x husband and x mother in law. He wouldn't even try ... left us unprotected with no protection orders... N would you like to know what happened to my children for letting that monster of a woman INTERVENE ,( which is against court law btw) only a mother's worst nightmare! That's what!!! Do not trust this man if I could put my transcripts on here for proof I would! You ruined my children's lives
