I contacted four different lawyers in NYC and Pittsburgh for my NIW petition, but Mr. Goldstein was the only lawyer who responded to my request. I think my case is not so simple but he seemed personally interested in something different that he hasn't dealt with before. Besides his much experience in immigration cases and excellent reputation in Pittsburgh, I trusted him because he didn't give me false hope. Then later I mostly interacted with Jennifer Healey, a new bright lawyer who joined the Philadelphia office last year. What I really liked during the application process was when I worked on my affidavit with her, which I think you can see the lawyer's creativity; I felt so much confidence in them. My specialty is science and it is absolutely not easy for any non-scientific audience to understand and translate into more ordinary words. However, I am really impressed with how they selected the topics we needed to highlight in the affidavit based on supporting letters and my publications. I can see they really looked into my research, not missing small details, and tried to build a nice case. It would be all meaningless if immigration officers can't understand what you've achieved in science and what they mean to the world outside the science community. In my opinion, immigration cases (especially NIW) are not just about the lawyer's experience. How effectively lawyers can understand and make your expertise understandable really matters. I was very lucky that I had both lawyers; and my petition was approved within three months although I left the States after I finished my study.

Was disappointed with the service. Decided on going with this firm even though it was more expensive (and in a different state) than other firms we spoke to regarding dealing with immigration because we felt they would be good for us. However, after filing the papers, they stopped helping. Emails regularly went unanswered, and when we finally did call to ask about status and change of address etc of the application, we were asked to call the agency ourselves to get answers. So why did we hire you? After we had our immigration interview (unaccompanied by our lawyer), no one even called us from the firm to ask us how it went or what the result was. Months later, and still nothing. Truly disappointed in lack of care and service.

Mr. Mark and his team are very helpful, honest, they handled my case till I received my green card, I had some issues with my case before I decided to call Mark Goldstein’s office! I worked with two attorneys before him! First one abandoned my case and didn’t care about it, second one left me alone in front of the immigration judge in the court, when the judge called her office, someone answered the phone and when the judge started asking questions about my case, he didn’t know anything and gave the judge wrong details! So I’m just advising everyone to work with Mr. Mark, and be advised his team speaks many language such as Arabic, Spanish, Chinese.....
