I've been in US for over 17 years now trying to get my documents. My husband is american, my kids were born here. I have never lapsed visas in the past. We went to so many layers asking to help me only to hear that there is nothing they can do about my status. I would have to apply for work authorization every year and not able to travel outside of the US, waiting to be deported is US government decided to do so.
We went to May Law Group and I got my green card in one year!
By any means they are not cheap, but comparing to all the money I've waisted on other lawers this group was worth every penny. Without them I would still be a nobody here!
I can't thank them enough every day of my life!

Always playing games worst immigration lawyers

The May Law group were in charge of my immigration process from the beginning to its end. Valerie's team helped me review my immigration needs and navigate through the complex process and filing options. In addition to tailoring their services to my constraints (personal, travel and work considerations), they also proactively update me on the recent changes in the process as they process several cases and can figure out what the administration requires. During the waiting periods, and every time I had to make a decision that could impact the immigration process, they were available to advise me over the phone or email. I would recommend May Law Group to any foreign national trying to navigate US Immigration law. They are great and this review stands for my appreciation and gratitude for their excellent service.

So unhelpful, completely wasted my time, needed help with the process for my passport and all I was told we don't do passport, even though that's what I mentioned while making my appointment. Also she didn't even greet me. Maybe she assumed I couldn't afford her lawfirm, because I wore jeans and a hoodie. Anyways... it might be better to look to a friendlier firm.

Good people. May understands their client and listens carefully to disseminate all needs info.

My mother worked closely with the staff and attorneys here, gaining her residency in 2009. She is now on the road to citizenship. I know the journey would have been difficult and nearly impossible were it not for the services they provide.

I can say that if you are truly in love, ready to put your all into helping your partner and are looking for help, you can trust May Law Group. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! I would have rather burned my money rather than give to Valerie May immigration law group.
First of all, I barely ever write reviews. The only reason I'm writing a review is that these people were immensely unprofessional.
I had planned on filing my EB1 petition through them. They asked me for a $3000 initiation fee, which I payed.
It took them months to even produce the drafts of the LORs, after I had provided them with all my material. The drafts were extremely poorly written. They actually expect you to write the draft and then edit themselves. I could have done a better job in 15 minutes, than they did in 5 months.
Once they take your money, they barely ever respond to emails. Since then do not respond to emails, I called their office and I was told that they will get back to me, which they never do.
On top of all the unprofessional behavior and the incompetence, Adam Greenburg (who is a lawyer in the firm) would literally lie that I ever emailed or called back.
In the end, after getting sick of these people, I decided to terminate my contract. I asked for a refund on my $3000 deposit, which they refused.
I went to another immigration firm after working with these people and the difference was night and day! My EB1 was approved within 6 months of working with another law firm.
If I had the time, I would have sued them for the breach of contract.
TAKE MY SINCERE ADVICE. DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL ONLY EXPLOIT YOU. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU.

I wish if I could give them "zero", horrible service, I will never recommend them to anyone. I gave then $1500 as deposit but they never worked on my case. I was told my file was lost, no one in office knew what was going on. I withdrew my case from them and filed all my paperwork myself. My money was never returned, although no paperwork was initiated by Val and her office at all.

Valerie and her team really know what they're doing. My partner and I were dealing with a difficult situation, and Valerie's expertise made all the difference. What amazed us the most is she knows exactly how long everything takes. She'd tell us what to expect, and when, and she was right all the way. We wouldn't recommend anyone else in Pittsburgh other than Valerie May. If you want the best, she's the one!

I had a free phone consultation with Ms May and one of her other colleagues regarding an immigration issue with our adopted children. They answered my questions with confidence and professionalism. It was great to be able to talk with them briefly through this means, feeling confident myself of their recommendations.

I contacted Valerie all the way from the other side of the world with absolutely no hope of being able to get my wife's I-601 Waiver approved. We had submitted our case to USCIS and received our denial notice shortly before I contacted Valerie. After receiving our denial notice I did a search on google for lawyers that deal with waivers. The first lawyer that caught my attention was the May Law Group. I contacted them expecting to hear "sorry there is nothing we can do you have already been denied". But I was referred to Valerie who immediately told me that she is sure she can win my case. I was very very reluctant as I already had been in the process for over a year. After a few days of thinking it over I decided to sign the contract with the May Law Group without ever meeting them and being all the way on the other side of the world. I took the last of my money and said that this would be my final shot at hoping to move back to the United States. From the beginning the service that I received from Valerie and her team was absolutely amazing. They showed me that they truly cared about my case and were going to do everything in their power to get us our approval. They told me that it would take about 3 months just to rebuild the case so that it would be solid enough for submission. I trusted them completely with everything they were doing and continued receiving positive feedback from them at how strong my case was and how important it was for them to win an approval for me. After the case was completed they sent it to me via FedEx and I was shocked at how large and strong the case looked. We submitted it to USCIS which notified us that their turnaround time would take 6 months. Due to the fact that the case was so strong we received our approval 3 weeks later!!! Absolutely amazing. Furthermore even after we received our approval the May Law Group stuck by our side and made sure that the local embassy would issue our visa and kept in close contact with them. They stayed by our side throughout the whole process until the issuance of the visa even though their contract specifically stated that they were only responsible for preparing our waiver package and delivering it to us for delivery. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the May Law Group and Valerie for everything that they have done for us and the amazing results that they obtained for us. They are absolutely amazing and I recommend them to anyone and everyone that ever needs anything that has to do with immigration. By far the most amazing Law Group. THANK YOU!!!!!!
