Mr. Colaizzi and his staff were so helpful and caring. He has helped me several times and also several of my friends have used him and with the results. I recommend this gentleman to anyone that may have any legal issues. He makes you feel like a friend and shows you above and beyond care and compassion! AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!

Worst attorney ever. He left my husband and I out to dry. He didn’t show up for court hearings for us, he didn’t contact us or let us know anything in our cases. We tried to go to his office and get our papers and no one was there. We would call and asked questions and no answer.l or call backs. But if he need paid or anything he would schedule a meeting and would show. But it’s always what he needed and not the other way around. You work for your client. Do your self a favor go somewhere else for a lawyer. We were told by him that we were his best clients and we got treated so horribly wrong. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. He never fights for you in court or anything, he just backs down In every situation. We wish we changed attorneys before things happened but our attorney now is great. Again don’t go to this attorney...

Don’t waste your money. At first Mr Colaizzi seemed like a great attorney. After he was paid his retainer, it all went downhill fast. He did not seem confident in himself at all. I felt like he was very intimidated by my ex-husband’s attorney. As soon as she showed any aggression when it came to arguing my ex’s side of the case, Mr. Colaizzi would back down immediately and fumble around just trying to get a word in. He ended up agreeing to a worse temporary custody agreement and I lost time with my daughter. It wasn’t even the reason we were in court that day. He barely returned calls and when I asked him to file contempt motions because the temp arrangement wasn’t being followed properly, he told me he would do so and I didn’t hear from him for weeks. He didn’t show up for a child support hearing and I ended up losing and was ordered to pay child support. I ended up in a worse position than I was in before I hired Mr Colaizzi. Do yourself a favor and ask legal aid what you can get done yourself. I did, and got more done with no type of law or court knowledge, than Mr Colaizzi did for me and he’s a so called experienced better than average family attorney. Thank god I realized he wasn’t interested in helping me and that he was doing more damage than good as soon as I did and got a better attorney. I can bet if I kept him as my attorney, I would probably have zero custody and not be allowed to see my daughter more than 1 hour a week. Attorneys are supposed to help you. Not make your situation harder or worse than it was.

Do yourself a big favor and find someone who knows what they are doing! Terrible experience and a huge waste of time and money!!
