Any question i had were answered any time i needed to get in contact with her she was available she showed up early to every hearing.
Not only was Karissa able to get all of the charges reduced and some removed, but she was also able to get me removed from probation only after the first year. She was very comforting during the whole term and very confident in what she was able to do and upfront about what she couldn't do wasn't just wishful thinking anything that she said she could do happened.
Bottom line if you need a defense attorney Karissa Murphy is the person to go to!
The rates were more then fair that she charged. I would have paid double knowing the outcome that i received.
Is one of the best attorneys I have used. He has helped me on several occasions with different charges against me and the outcome is always good in my experience. I highly recommend Robert.
During our meeting,on December 12 2011,My Grandmother and I met with Robert and presented him with facts and police reports.Being that is was her insurance home owners policy that was being sued over an alleged assault.We stated that we wanted her insurance out and let me handle the responsibility or consequences of the outcome.At the time I was a successful small business owner,had a credit score of 761,and was looking to go to CCAC for web design.I aslo stated that I wanted to file countersuit for slander, harassment,defamation,etc.Robert seemed to be on the same page and he even stated "Keller is eventually going to drop this." As noted in his retainer letter.
There are four legal arguments to this case none of which where argued all of which I did research on because Robert did not.
I--This is the most important
8340.2. Civil immunity for use of force.
(a) General rule.--An actor who uses force:
(1) in self-protection as provided in 18 Pa.C.S. § 505 (relating to use of force in self-protection);
(2) in the protection of other persons as provided in 18 Pa.C.S. § 506 (relating to use of force for the protection of other persons);
(3) for the protection of property as provided in 18 Pa.C.S. § 507 (relating to use of force for the protection of property);
(4) in law enforcement as provided in 18 Pa.C.S. § 508 (relating to use of force in law enforcement); or
(5) consistent with the actor's special responsibility for care, discipline or safety of others as provided in 18 Pa.C.S. § 509 (relating to use of force by persons with special responsibility for care, discipline or safety of others)
is justified in using such force and shall be immune from civil liability for personal injuries sustained by a perpetrator which were caused by the acts or omissions of the actor as a result of the use of force.
II--The case itself had already been declared self defence from the police.
III--Pa.Stand Your Ground Law,in which I was retreating to my house maintaing control of my dogs.
IV--Pa. Castle Doctrine.
If the proper arguments where reseached this case could have dismissed years ago.In fact Mielnicki participated in cookout thrown by Kregg during Kreggs deposition(Kregg cooked food on his smoker and brought it in for lunch at depositions),and Robert complimented Kregg on how well his potato salad tasted,this made me extremely uncomfortable.( The definition of cookout is food that was cooked outside)..Attorney Mielnicki also argued with me stating,"I was confused on what I had hired him for".In my opinion Attorney Mielnicki is the one who was confused.Think about it.Have you ever been confused on why you are hiring a lawyer if you had to do so.Dealing with Mielnicki was a nightmare,in my opinion.
As you can tell from Mielnicki's responce to my negative review dealing with him was a nightmare.Being a lawyer it's natural for him to deney or defend accusations.To this day Mielnicki still cant get his facts straight.which is why he originally stated"no department or agency ever stated this was self -defence"but then edit that after I post a picture of the police report ,which was in his possession and an exhibit during depositions.Thats a perfect example of of the type of attention my case got.
Im not stating he is not a good lawyer.You can be the judge of that or look at the doctor and judge for yourself. I feel he never represented my interests, or acted professionally while handleing my case.If Mielnicki was truely looking out for my interest he would have done the proper research on self-defense,or maybe he just didn't want to.Maybe I'll file suit against Mielnicki's insurance for Negligence and Breach of Contract.Let's see if he advises them to settle.
The best representation you can get for your self or anyone in need of legal service! Mr Mielnicki is extremely professional but at the same time has the ability to make you feel like you are talking to a friend. His assistant Ann is very precise and communicative she was always ahead and keept me updated trough out the process. Without saying this guys are a Top Notch team and I will recommend them anytime. And hopefully not but if I happen to need their service again I am going for sure with Mr Mielnicki without hesitation.
