I would recommend Manchester & Associates to any person in need of representation for serious felony offenses. I was pulled over by a PA state trooper and facing two felonies and a 8 month minimum jail sentence. I wanted to avoid jail time at all cost, even if that meant pleading guilty. I did not see a way out of my situation without serving a jail sentence. Because I was driving the car I thought my case was black and white I was "caught red handed" as the saying goes. Brian took me through every step of the process and kept me very informed on what options I had available to me. Three months after I bailed out the cops released the tape of me being pulled over. Brian reviewed the video of the stop and informed me that the PA state trooper had no reason to pull me over at all. This information changed my entire case as well as what I was willing to plea to. The district attorney offered me multiple plea deals but with no priors I wanted to keep my record clean and decided to fight the charges. Brian worked hard and I received NO JAIL TIME. Also, my criminal record is clean so I have a second chance with my career path that would not be available to me with a felony on my record. I had initially found an attorney in Williamsport on Google however he said he was not familiar with the laws due to the fact that I lived out of state and had a CDL.
He stated he did not know Brian personally however stated as a prosecutor he hated going up against him as Brian was aggressive and knowledgeable.
I want to clarify Brian does not come across as an aggressive person, he’s actually quite laid back.
No doubt he was referring to his ability to stand his ground as a client advocate.

I feel confident that he got me the best possible outcome considering my circumstances.
His secretary was prompt and courteous, reminded me of court dates.
Brian called me on his cell and clarified any questions.
I don’t plan to be in that situation ever again however if I need legal services in that region of Pennsylvania.

I choose not to relive the nightmare experienced in Clarion County, PA but would instead feel compelled to express my gratitude and appreciation to Brian for his amazing work. I am NOT a resident of Clarion County, nor do I reside in Pennsylvania. Knowing the incompetence of most small town law enforcement coupled with their insatiable appetite for money, I feared for my life, my safety, my assets, my physical well being, my dog's future, my finances & my sanity after being illegally arrested, detained, threatened, harrassed, persecuted, demoralized, disrespected and verbally assaulted.

I was faced with the 'Sophie's Choice' of either fleeing the state with a bounty on my head (while enduring the inevitable warrant & extradition) or appearing in court with no legal representation (as I had requested a continuance from the Judge but it was denied). I was desperate and forced to beg for help from an old attorney friend. Brian Manchester, Esq., is simply the best! He is an excellent attorney, and a warm and intelligent man. Brian explains the law AND the science to his clients, listens to all of their concerns, and answers questions in a clear and comprehensive manner. My husband was in a horrific car accident in July, 2017, when he lost consciousness and ran into another car and then into a telephone pole. The accident left him permanently disabled, with a broken neck and brain trauma. We believe he suffered a series of mini-strokes while driving, which had happened on at least one prior occasion. However, since my husband was taking legally-prescribed pain medication at the time, those medications showed up in his blood test following the wreck. As such, he was charged with a drug-related DUI and various other traffic offenses. Instead of assuming, like the District Attorney did, that my husband was incapacitated, Brian Manchester listened to the complete story of what happened. We were able to explain to him that this was a health problem, not a driving-under-the-influence problem. Brian took the time to examine the blood results and then explained them to us. He showed us two things: first, that the level of pain medication in my husband's system was on the lower end of the spectrum, and second, that one of the charges filed against my husband was premised upon a blood metabolite that is not even illegal to have in your system in Pennsylvania. Brian then filed motions with the Court to suppress my husband's blood test results. Since the accident left my husband with multiple physical and mental problems, keeping him out of the prison system was the most important aspect of the entire process for us. We explained to Brian that our biggest concern was that my husband's health was too precarious to withstand incarceration. Due to Brian Manchester's outstanding scientific knowledge and the respect he has earned from years of experience dealing with the Centre County District Attorney's Office, Brian was able to negotiate a plea deal to a lesser charge that would keep my husband out of jail.
