Great practice. Great attorney. 5 stars speaks for itself.

Wish there were negative stars. A partner at 300 per presented himself to us as THE expert in his field. ALL our worries could be left in his hands. We thought it might be worth that kind of expertise, a suicidal kid needed THAT kind of help. You know. THE firm's expert. Another attorney was needed, too. We're still paying on tens and tens of thousands in fees. Guess what? He not only was NOT an ' expert ' in that field, we cannot find a single, further or previous case. Expertise listed is sure not what he claimed.You can't object. He offered to ' move against us '. That was nice. File a lawyer complaint? Uh huh. A genuine expert in the field told us do not bother- lawyers ' police themselves '. Then he laughed.

Oh yea. Guy had a conflict of interest of which we knew nothing. So, NOT THE expert, conflict of interest, unsurprising failed badly and worse, became extremely aggressive when we disagreed with quite a few aspects of his handling of the case. The second attorney? After a good start, lost so much steam it was difficult ascertaining whose case she was presenting. It didn't LOOK like ours but what do I know? Thankfully not a lawyer.

JSDC just sent me an email requesting positive reviews. My first reaction is why but they asked so here is my review. First, this law firm runs ads claiming rights for dads. They are so far from this it’s sick. After hiring JSDC for a custody and divorce, the first thing they tell me is step by step instructions on how to get the children’s father arrested for harassment or stalking. Second they say keep the kids as far away from the father as possible and limit or restrict all communication. When I asked why, they claim it’s the only way to get alimony and the maximum child support awarded. The thought of doing that to my kids made me so sick to my stomach. I needed a lawyer, and they completed my divorce. I did not follow their advice for custody and my children have a happy relationship with their father. I would never recommend this law firm to any father or mother with children. They are sick people.

I should have did more research online before hiring an attorney. I was screwed from the beginning and lost everything in my divorce. JSDC told me 'oh well better luck next time'.

The absolute worst law firm in central pa. You are better off saving your money and representing yourself.

Honestly the worst experience. My lawyer did the absolute bare minimum. Only contacting the police officer involved five minutes before the trial, she cared very little about the case and only wanted to collect a paycheck. Thankfully because she did so very little work most of the retainer was returned, which was the only good part about the whole experience.

Great full service law firm with a top notch real estate department.

Began extremely well, inexplicably went down hill. It was weird and unsettling. We saw the sterling, solid work willing to be done on behalf of a client, then it vanished. Obviously not all attorneys here may be reviewed in one client experience. No sour grapes since we parted company before our case ended. This experience shocked us because the firm was strongly recommended.

Great Professionals

This place is an absolute joke. Every lawyer in there is trained to be unethical. They will go above and beyond unreasonable thinking. They do not care about children and will try to ruin relationships with children and parents. They do not see children as humans, they are objects to them. I do not know how the people at this firm sleep at night. I'd be embarrassed to work there. If you are an unreasonable, unlogical, cold human being. This is the place for you. All they see is $$$ signs! They don't care about their clients!

Is it possible to give your Divorce Attorney a 5 star rating??? We aren't quite done yet but they've stood by me every step of the way and I've sent several friends there who have also been very happy...highly recommend all their staff but especially Attorney Max Smoth

Terrible law firm. If you are the type of parent that wants to isolate and restrict the other parent from their child(ren), they are for you. All logical and reasonable thinking goes out the window and will only look out for the client's interest and not the child's and is more then happy to ruin a child's relationship with their parent. Great example of low ethics in practice.
