Me and my elderly Black Lab were the victims of a vicious Pit Bull attack in City Park (Reading, PA). After all the blood, Emergency Room visits and Veterinary care I wanted to hold the owner of the dogs responsible for his negligent actions. I called Cornerstone and they agreed to see me right away. David Crossett and his Paralegal listened to my story and took on my case as a contingency. The owner of these animals was arrested and took off after he was released from prison. Mr. Crossett followed every lead possible trying to find the responsible party of this crime. The wheels of justice turn very slowly. After 9 months of investigation we finally had our day in court. The case included an insurance company and the owner of the apartment where the dogs and owner lived. Mr. Crossett did an amazing job of representing me and all the carnage that the attack entailed. The case hinged on whether the other side was telling the truth regarding the dog owner and his knowledge of the presence of vicious animals on the property. Thru cross examination of the property manager Mr. Crossett clearly showed that the Land Lord was lying about the presence of the dogs. The Judge was convinced and we won. This was not an easy case. It required patience and investigation. Mr. Crossett did an admirable job with the information that was available to us. I was always kept up to date regarding what was happening with my case. Mr. Crossett and his Paralegal team always treated me with the utmost professionalism. I would not hesitate to call Cornerstone Law again. I am confident that you would be just as satisfied as I was if you need a lawyer to represent you.
