Waking up the next morning, a little fuzzy, with a desk appearance ticket (DAT) lying next to you might possibly be the most frightening thing ever. I have never been arrested, never gotten in trouble, and didn’t even know what a DAT was. The panic that was going through me was absolutely indescribable. I googled the hell out of a DAT and automatically assumed I was going to jail, losing my job, and my life was over. I was arrested for a misdemeanor for getting into a fight. I hired Todd Spodek because I was involved in an altercation at a bar and subsequently charged with assault. I experienced a very unfortunate incident while visiting NY in 2018 and had Spodek Law Group represent me in NY criminal and Family court. I live and work in Va. I found the firm from a basic online search and I liked that Mr. Spodek was in my age group, was able to work with a payment plan, and was his staff was very responsive upon initial contact.

My first few cases Todd Spodek represented me. He was on his A game. He is a true NYorker and was very efficient and experienced. He knew what to expect and how the legal system works plus he kept me informed the entire time.

My second case was today and Mr. Joshua Kors was my lawyer from the Spodek Law firm. Mr. Kors is VERY meticulous, uber patient and very thorough with his fact finding and questioning. Our trial/hearing lasted almost 5hours, way longer than normal. But he made sure to argue and point out every single piece of inconsistency in the entire report and then some. I admit I was a bit ancy and ready to "Wrap this show up" at one point but he made it very clear that this was our 1 chance to plea my disposition and his job to do so and do it well.
