I hired Ari when I was being illegally evicted from an illegal basement in Kew Gardens, Queens. And the landlord was harassing me to move out by raising the temperature in the apartment and mounting cameras in the hallway. Finally the landlord broke in to the apartment TWICE and jammed the front door shut. And we called the cops three times but the landlord had a brother who worked in the department so of course they "let it slip" that the landlord illegally evicted his tenants. Ari came on board with short notice. Was not attentive and missed a technical issue that would have landed me a big settlement if it would have been aggressively pressed. But Ari didn't spend more than about 30min on the case so I ended up settling for $4000. And Ari didn't take a cut from it. I was disappointed because the landlord was doing so much illegal activity and I feel the judge would have listened to me about that. But Ari said I should really accept a low settlement so I did just that. The landlord ended up sabotaging for me for months after the court hearing as retaliation for taking them to court. Be ware if Kew Gardens. It's not good people there. And I agree with Ari, the settlement was maybe as high as I could have got. But I still think the time spent on the case was too little to really know that for sure and not just say that to clear your conscience. I would still recommend Ari. And I wanted him to represent me in a different case, which he probably would if I had paid him another fee. But I didn't want to do that because the task wasn't in court, it was just negotiating a settlement and I thought aris firm could do that with just a percentage from the settlement as payment and not having to pay the fee to just get started. So I ended up not hiring for my second case.

They heard my case and gave me first class treatment -- probably the most trust-inspiring lawyers I've spoken to. Would not hesitate to hire them should the need arise!

We had a case against a corrupted landlord. My mother was a senior citizen that was disabled and the landlord was trying to evict us based on nuisance that had no grounds. Ari was able to come on board on short notice (the Monday right after thanksgiving!) and supported the case for 7 months. We were anxious and had our doubts and he reminded us throughout that the landlord does not have a case and not to worry. Elki was super personable and helped explain the process and what to expect. We were able to get several affidavits from our neighbors vouching for us. In the end of it all we won our case and able to keep our home of 18+ years

He’s rates are very affordable

Ari is man of the people, hands down. VERY reasonable pricing for expert level representation. Anyone on here who says he is unresponsive is just an impatient person or a control freak. You are supposed to trust your lawyer, not tell him how to run the case - you can trust Ari 110%. He took a while to respond sometimes, however he lived up to his word and his original plan, always got back to us, always gave us good advice. A lawyer is supposed to paint a picture to the judge and that's exactly what Ari did. He won our case before it even went to trial. The judge had to look up the technicality he sited because she didn't even know off hand exactly what Ari was talking about. He knows stuff off the top of his head that most people have to look up. You will have a very hard time finding a better lawyer at these rates.

I moved into what was supposed to be a luxury apartment in late 2017. Little did I know, the owner(s) are the exact opposite of luxury. There was a handful of issues that should have not existed because they all should have been fixed before I moved in (dysfunctional stove, non-working lights, etc.). The owner(s) and management company, over two months after being told about these issues, had still not rectified anything. After giving them more patience than they had deserved and many emails and phone calls that were ignored, I had finally had enough.
I chose to reach out to Ari based on good reviews that I had read. He asked me for all of the important paperwork and facts surrounding the situation, he sent a letter to the owner(s) and management company and pretty much took over all communication from there. They tried to do some bare-minimum things to smooth things over, but I told Ari that this was unacceptable and he fought for me with a calm but unyielding attitude that got me everything that I deserved and the owner(s) of the apartment I rent had to spend thousands of dollars to make me whole.
I would recommend Ari Mor to anyone that is experiencing any housing issues.

I do not recommend this firm. I spoke on the phone with them many times. Each time they were very rude and don't let me explain my situation. The secretary called Elki was horrible. I am surprised she working in a law firm. If you give this firm your money, you will regret it. They will take money and not work on your case. Stay away!

My review might be long , I found Ari and his wife’s online . My mother passed away and she was backed up on rent a lot . The hosusing court assigned me to a legal aid comes to find out she was working with my landlords attorney scared me into trail and I signed because my mom didn’t put me on the lease . They raised up the rent . My mom was paying 988$ they raised it to 1100. When I hired them it was kind of late to do anything about it because I really didn’t know my rights and I had rights and all the proof I’d been living there . They helped me out so much besides that , help me get time to grieve and even when ( I’m not sure the correct term for it is ) our contract finished my landlord wanted me to go to court I didn’t have money to rehire them . They cake to court anyway and I told them I just need a couple days to move and I was praying that it wouldn’t mess up my credit and still have that on my record and you know how that goes in New York I wouldn’t be able to get another one . I have been a client with ARI Mor, esq. since the summer of 2017. Good morning everyone, I just wanted to post a quick review about my lawyer Ari Moore. I ran into a situation with my landlord. The receptionist, a man who answered the phone started out very helpful but upon me asking a question, again that they should be the experts in, he got extremely rude because I wasn't understanding him so I asked again and he just hung up.
