End of the day, they didn't get the job done. They weren't able to dismiss the ticket. They only push the ticket for a longer date to pay the penalty that I was not guilty for. I guess I'll find another attorney in the near future.

I have watched and witness this lawyer do nothing or say anything against the officer who gave me the ticket 3 years ago as the judge give me the guilty verdict for a disobey traffic signal that could easily be dismiss by a good lawyer specially if the case is over two years . All that negative comments below has one thing to say to this Firm, Incompetent.

if they gave me the option to put zero stars I would. I gave them two of my tickets to fight in court and from the two tickets I was found guilty for both tickets adding six and four points to my license. you would think they would do a better job with all of their experience. it looks like they never showed up to court.

Great experience, had a speeding ticket in queens contact the lawyer office and they fought the case and won saving me 6 points on my license and me being a truck driver is a huge relieve.

Asked the firm in 2018 to represent me to contest 2 tickets: 2 points for improper turn (no turning light while making a turn), and using cell phone while driving (5 points). Paid the firm $350 for the first ticket, and $525 for the second one. Visited the attorney's office with and provided evidence to support my case. Both cases were lost after a number of postponements, last in 2020, which will remain on my record for 4 years (NYS) from the moment a judge makes a decision, i.e. until 2025. During a phone call a week before the second hearing, Michael Block has indicated that my case is to be postponed again. The hearing has taken place regardless, and the case was lost.

I highly recommend I’m from New Jersey but I’m a truck driver in Manhattan i caught 4 tickets from cellphone, seatbelt, improper turn, disobeying traffic sign. From all Different time frame he Has beat them all I could’ve lost my job rack up some points and fines and would’ve had a hard time looking for a job thanks to this man.

I got their assistance through Legalshield. They were able to dismiss 1 of 2 of my tickets. I am thankful for that. The customer service however is outstanding. I appreciate that more than anything.

I do not live in NY but had 2 business days in which to secure a lawyer for two NYC traffic tickets. I had spoken to 3 other lawyers prior to contacting Mr. Block's firm. All 3 lawyers I had to wait for a call back from (understandable of course but just pointing it out). 2 returned my call and both said they would take the case but the ticket carrying the biggest fine is not something they could see being reduced much less thrown out. I called Mr. Block's firm and spoke with his assistant. We spoke briefly about the tickets and then she said that she would be sending over paperwork, to fill it out and then I will receive a phone call the day before and the day after the hearing. I submitted the paperwork but was very uneasy about trusting that a lawyer, whom I didn't speak to, would be able to represent me and my case not to mention, he could fit this afternoon hearing into his schedule on such short notice. Marlenis, the assistant, assured me that I was on the schedule eased my fears explaining that he has 30 years experience doing this. I took a leap of faith and boy am I glad I did. Both tickets weren't dismissed BUT the one with the heaviest fine WAS dismissed. I was so happy! I must say the whole process was so easy... almost too easy and too good to be true but I was wrong to think that. They clearly know what they are doing and do a great job!

Got my ticket dismissed

All was good in the beginning when scheduling Michael Block. Paid in advance 250 for 1 ticket and 200 for another for him to represent me. He attended both court cases and got the dates pushed back and had to pay $50 for each ticket that the court date was changed for. Mind you that was per Michael Block’s request to change the dates which I personally didn’t request. According to the Jennifer the judge couldn’t come to a decision so the court date was postponed. 2 times???? On Different dates? Come on! Fine I paid the $100 this is aside from what I had already paid him. The dates were postponed for 6 months. Michael Block attends each court date and loses both of them. Which not only do I need to pay the fine but I also got points on my license. What gets me about Michael is that when you call to book him you are not asked not 1 single question about the incident that occurred. He doesn’t ask you what happen like no background information to get a better understanding and actually build the case with facts. I could have went to court paid $40 to postpone the court date myself and went myself to see the judge and lost and got the points and saved myself the $650. I don’t know how there are any positive reviews on Michael Block. I honestly believe that’s his scam he takes on the case, goes and postpone the court date, gets you for more money and then goes and loses. Reality is he’s not going to win every single case and I understand that but the fact that he actually gathers no information makes me question how if he going to defend the client is he making stuff up ? Honestly if you can go see another lawyer. I do not recommend him at alllllllllll.

I got a stop sign ticket in the city. I decided to go with Mr. Block because of all the positive reviews. I am very glad I made that decision. My court date was got pushed back a few times but I got the call today that my case was dismissed and there will no points added to my driving record. This was a big relief and I thank Mr. Block and his team. If you are debating hiring Mr. Block don't he gets the job done and saves you a lot of hassle. Also his fee was very fair.

My first very easy of two point ticket given almost 3 years ago. I also have reasons to back up the case but for some reason the lawyer took the time and not sure if he worked for my case. I paid him very beginning and then the bond. He couldn’t fight my case and I was found guilty.

I had some questions about my case and he was never available to talk. I call his office, left multiple messages with his secretary, he never return my calls. I’m very disappointed in the outcome of my case. I thought he can do better. You would think after paying so much money he would give you the courtesy to return your call. Just like most attorneys, after you pay them, it’s very difficult to get in touch with them. I will never use Michael Block again. Very disappointed in his service! There are better options!
