Maybe I called at the wrong time of day but the person who answered was totally not helpful. I wasn't on the phone but 10 seconds before I was cut short of who I was and why I was calling. He was extremely rude, arrogant and unprofessional. If this is the type of attention he provides potential clients stay away. Upon reading the other negative reviews, the only response that the lawyer will give to the negative feedback are these petty words to justify his actions.

A true professional with a thriving practice would pay attention to any negative reviews and rectify his or her actions as to not repeat the pattern. All of the "positive" reviews must be from family and what little friends he has. BEWARE and STAY AWAY!

In response to the gentlemen's statement that I wanted "free advise"...
I wasn't calling for free advise nor was I told that he was with a client, otherwise why would you answer the phone if you are with someone already? You should be spending your undivided attention with that client even if the phone rings. And finally, I was not invited to his office for a face to face consultation. I am a building owner on the Upper West Side seeking representation in the court system. Please sir stop spreading false truths and change your ways so that you can have more positive reviews.

I tried to go to Court without a lawyer. The landlords lawyer tried to bully me. I asked the Judge for an adjournment to get a lawyer. Then I met these lawyers. They only charged me a few hundred dollars and they found out that my apartment was illegal. They got me 5 months rent free. I was able to save money and get a new apartment. I really liked these lawyers. They were the bomb!

I called for advice and the guy who answered was in the middle of a landlord tenant dispute. He put me on hold while he yelled over the phone. About 10 minutes in he gets on the phone and says he has to call me back because he has to run out.

I gave one star because the receptionist was very polite and attentive, however I was on hold for about 10 min, and when the lawyer finally answered he listened for a few seconds before telling me in other words to go to court and file a complaint against my landlord, and just like that the conversation was quickly rushed and over.... I did not learn anything....he basically said I have no case but to take my chances,
He cut me off before I could finish my sentence,
I called a lawyer to hopefully hire to properly defend me and he didn't have the time of day. Very sad

When he finally says how can I help you, I'm trying to explain my situation and he says ma'am please get right to the point I have 30 seconds. If you need a lawyer number to hear your problem and ACTUALLY HELP you this is NOT IT.

Just called seeking advise on a matter (which would have led to me hiring them). I didn’t know if I could pursuit my landlord for my security deposit so I was just asking that basic question first...whatever lawyer answered was rude and had zero patience. I don’t know if he had another client with him, IF SO he could have just told me to call another time that’s more convenient or to come in person instead of being rude and Breathing heavily on the phone.

I called to see if i possibly had a case regarding my situation. He had an attitude & i could barely finish my statements as i talked. All i wanted was help in a matter where the housing manager was wrong and wanted extra time to move if indeed i had to. This was a VERY sensitive matter to me due to the fact that my father unexpectedly died & now i'm left in such a bind with last minute things popping up for me to handle. But what ever is meant to happen i guess will happen. I'll find some one else to represent me. People must learn to remain professional at all times!

Horrible serivice! I called the hotline to get advice on my situation. Before I can even get through what I was going through, the lawyer (Robert) had already determined he could not help me. When I asked him how would he know if I didn't finish? He then told me he had a client and he can only give me 35 seconds. So I asked if I could call back at a different time and he said no because he couldn't help me.

I was PISSED! So, I went on their law firms website and wrote this same review here (I should've read Google reviews for the holiness because, 4 months ago someone had the same experience I did with the same person. I also mentioned that on the website.)!

After I wrote my review on the their website, Robert must have been notified because he called me back. He was now apologizing and willing to help me but, I had already called another hotline and got all my questions answered and advice on how to solve my situation. I INDEED have a case. That's all I wanted to know.

I called for a consultation. Whether you can or can't help someone doesn't mean you should cut them off or belittle them. We obviously call you for insight because YOU are the expert not us. Robert mentioned he couldn't help me but his attitude compelled me to write a review. He also stated "that he had clients and I was wasting his time". Here's a tip...train your receptionist to transfer the call based on level of importance and if it can wait, to take a message. Instead she transferred me to Robert and here he was acting like I was annoying him with my question, that I barely got to ask because he was cutting me off every two seconds.

After using other attorneys I hired these lawyers and I was extremely satisfied with their legal services. They were reasonable in their few and superior with their knowledge of landlord tenant law. They fought like pit bulls in court and they won my case. Thank you. A++

I own one building. Whenever a tenant is behind on rent I use this firm to sue in Landlord Tenant Court for my back rent and they always get it for me very quick. They are better and they charge much less than the other law firms. I have been very pleased with them. I did not know how good they are until recently. I also have a business that has not been doing well lately. I owed the my landlord over $20000.00 in back rent that I did not have. My landlord sued me and I thought I would lose my business. I thought that since my tenants always paid the rent quick or faced eviction that the same would happen to me. I did not know how excellent these attorneys were. They got me a 6 month payout to catch up on the back rent. I paid all the rent. My business was saved and I owe it all to Mark Cohen and Robert Rosenblatt for their excellent legal representation!

Once again, the wife has to help the husband to help his boss. With out names there is a Warehouse in E. New York Brooklyn, that is privately owned. Part of this facility was leased with a lease to a sub-tenant who was suppose to be out this past Monday the 4th.
The owner lost his cool, and was ready to well you know. ( I'can't type the rest.)
I found Robert, on a Saturday, and he answered his cell rightway. Brooklyn based willing to travel to see client on Monday. For both of them it seemed like a good fit.
Monday meeting, and formal paperwork to be filled. Unless having an attorney present makes this other
sub-tenant move. Didn't ask anything about fees on the phone, and I hate to assume but all will be dealt with Monday. I think a new business connection for two Brooklyn born business men.will go well.

My ex landlord did not want to fix the boiler. It been over 4 months that we did not have hot water for longer than 5 minutes. My wife kept complaining so we took it to court. Guess who won the case and have a happy wife ;]

I personally found their services to be extremely resourceful, they knew exactly what government housing agency number to call to make a claim and what to say exactly in that claim so that It would be on file and I could actually have a fighting chance at winning my claim against my landlord in court. He also gave several other suggestions & other claims to make as well as getting a real contractor to make an estimate of damages done in my apartment and how much it would cost to fix it.
