i met with jonathan at his garden city location office 5 years ago.
before the meeting i asked him how much he would charge to fix up and read and tighten up our potential mediation papers that we had done with a rabbi. jonathan said 500 for all the work. when i met with him he answered the phone 3 separate times and we talked about 45 minutes. he promised to do all sorts of stuff to help me. before i left he asked for the check. i trusted him to follow through and be a person of his word. he did not. when i called to ask about the work he was going to do he said the 500 was for the consultation. this was not what we agreed upon at all. i was very upset at the time and my ex husband spoke to his associate david glaser. david promised he would do the work himself and mail us something. this never happened. when people pay for a consultation it is never 500. joanthan is a liar and only cares about the money. he has no integrity. i then called up jonathan recently to remind him of what happened and he was nasty on the phone from start to finish. i told him that it is never too late to right a wrong and that when we die the first question asked from above is "were we honest in all of our business dealings?" he said some more nasty comments and then abruptly slammed down the phone. this is an honest representation of what occurred. this is not how a jew should treat another jew. i am following up with the nassau bar association and small claims court.

They are slow, unreliable, disorganized, and alarmingly under-staffed. When I went in to speak with Mr. Kroll, the secretary and another lawyer were SCREAMING at each other. I was afraid they were going to get violent. They took forever to get back to my calls and emails, forcing me to work around their seemingly continuously "busy" schedule. I also noticed they have new interns in their office practically every week. I suppose they can't stand the faculty and their bipolar outbursts and quit as soon as they can.
