Hi. I found George through my friend who had a felony for a drug sale aggravated felony. He was facing deportation. George was able to convince the judge and the DA to reduce his charges to a non-deportable offence. The guy's deportation case was dismissed, and he went home from jail. I was very impressed with this, so I decided to hire mr. Terezakis. He isn't cheap, but we all know we get what we pay for. And immigration matters isn't something you want to save a couple of bucks on, and nothing gets done in the end - I wouldn't risk it. I would prefer to spend a little more, but have a greater chance of winning my case. So I was also facing deportation. George was able to reduce my deportable crime to a non-deportable crime, and after the immigration judge vacated my deportation proceedings. So now I am eligible to apply for citizenship - which I am doing with help of G. Terezakis's office - I am not taking any chances that I am denied citizenship - again - this time around.
I hope I won't need any of his services in the future, but if I do, he will be my go to attorney. He is a nice person, and pleasure to work with.

My husband and I came to the Terezakis Law Firm in May of 2010 after we had been to two other immigration lawyers. We had originally came to just re-apply for his TPS. My husband's case was quite complicated. The staff were very knowledgeable & patient.

There were many steps we had to take before we could re-apply for the TPS. We were advised to request my husband's full immigration file. Upon receiving this they had realize that there were (3) Alien numbers for him all with different information.
The first task was to merge all (3) Alien numbers into one case, which was completed.
The second task we had ahead of us was to go to Federal Plaza and to be interviewed to prove that we were a legitimate couple. Mr. Terezakis and his staff had prepared us with what questions would be asked & what to bring (photos, tax returns, affidavit letters, etc.). We went into the interview confidently with Mr. Terezakis by our side. The interviewer asked us only (3) questions because he stated he had more than enough information from years ago that adequately demonstrated we were a legitimate couple. We passed with flying colors.
The next task was that Mr. Terezakis had to go before a judge to have my husband's case administratively closed in order for us to apply for this new law that was coming out which was the I601A. This administrative closure was approved.
The next long daunting task was to apply for the I601A and making sure that we met all requirements. This was the most arduous process, but we were well prepared with what information we needed to obtain. We got together over 6 years worth of information, photos, letters from family & friends and financial information. Based upon the guidelines for applying for this new program, Mr. Terezakis, my husband and others involved felt confident with sending in the case. Unfortunately, we were denied, which came as a shock to all of us. But, this sometimes happens even though we provided a strong case. Mr. Terezakis was truly upset for us. That next day I was in his office crying because I felt hopeless, not to mention every time you submit something to the government, there is a fee associated with this.
Mr. Terezakis knew we had a strong case and wanted us to reapply. We did not want to reapply right away because the process was taxing, we were afraid of being denied again and we did not have the money to do this a second time. Mr. Terezakis said while we were rethinking about reapplying, for me to at least go and see this Psychologist Dr. Stephen Reich. Dr. Reich's expert medical opinion was used to show how I would suffer undue hardship if my husband was not here. Dr. Reich was a godsend. He was costly, but worth his weight in gold. He too concurred that Mr. Terezakis was putting together an airtight case and that he too also felt we should have never been denied to begin with.
We waited a few months after seeing Dr. Reich before we decided to reapply. During this time Mr. Terezakis always called and emailed us to check in. The reason he did this was a) we had been working with him for so long that he was concerned we were making the wrong decision by not reapplying and b) he was genuinely concerned.
During this time my husband and I prayed constantly. Our faith is very important to us and sometimes we just had to sit still and wait.
We reapplied in July 2016. Shortly after we received the notice that they received our case. Less than a month after we received a notice that my husband had to complete his biometrics (fingerprints).
Finally, on January 3, 2017 my husband's case was APPROVED!
The reason for this long review was to show just how much work, time and preparation went into the handling of our case.

Mr. Terezakis will work hard for you, BUT you must be willing to do the work too. He is worth his weight in Gold! Everything that they said they would do, they have done.
We have a few more steps to complete before we leave the country, but I am confident that God placed Mr. Terezakis in our lives and my husband will receive his Greencard!

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Terezakis.

I am a legal permanent resident who has lived in the US for 30 years with my wife and daughter who is now 25. Many years ago, the government decided to seek deportation for a conviction I had in the past. It was then, that i was referred to and retained Mr. Terezakis to represent me in my case.

For 10 plus years, Mr. Terezakis was very diligent and stayed with the case. Our immigration judge was very hard and wouldn't treat me fairly but George still stuck with the case. Our judge placed a deportation order 2 times, and both times George was able to stop the deportation. Trial after Trial, appeal after appeal, until we finally won our case and immigration granted the waiver.

He handled himself very well in court, and was very knowledgeable about the legal issues. It also helped that he was fluent in spanish, so an interpreter was not needed.

George answered our questions professionally, and was easily accessible. We'd like to give a special thanks to George's office staff, especially his assistant Sumi. She was very respectful and was always willing to help. She is a very caring person and often had comforting words when we needed to hear it.

I heartedly recommend George Terezakis as an effective immigration lawyer. After months of persistent and forceful work, George Terezakis was successful in winning my godson, a Mexican native, an order of withholding from deportation. Now my godson lives in the United States legally and has a work permit. My godson’s case was extremely complicated and needed to bring together documentation of hospital records, testimony of intimidation and harm experienced by him, journalistic writing and organizations’ reports of pervasive violence that posed real threats to my godson, and criminal dispositions of his misdemeanors. George Terezakis was able to integrate so much information into a coherent picture in order to present the real dangers that faced my godson. All of this hard work took a tremendous amount time, hours of dedicated resources from his legal team to do research and bolster court findings, and multiple court hearings. During this entire process, George Terezakis never gave up but worked even harder to gain a successful outcome for my godson. Due to my lack of funds, I was unable to pay for a lawyer to represent my godson. I spoke with the legal department of the Legal Aid Society and other community-based organizations that represent immigrants pending deportation in the courts. In speaking with about 30 of these good-willed legal departments, I was told that although my godson’s case had merit, they could not represent him for such reasons as the particular type of court he was in, that the case was too complex, that the organization did not have the staff to handle the research and document gathering required, and/or were simply overwhelmed with too many cases. Initially, a kind priest tried to help, filing petitions to the court and having a series of pro bono lawyers represent him in court. Unfortunately, the petition was incomplete and the lawyers showed up without knowing the case. This process dragged out the case for months without any real progress. When George Terezakis took the case, the entire case was managed anew. The court petition was resubmitted with much for pertinent information, the legal staff spent hours to get relevant information to build up the case, George Terezakis worked with and consulted with my godson and myself every step of the way, he and his staff answered all of my questions about the case with patience and compassion, and George Terezakis was skillful in defending my godson in the court. He won my godson’s difficult case. My godson is the only family I have and I take care of him. George Terezakis took care of my godson as I would myself and he has both enabled him to remain with me and remain in a safer place.

I have worked for Mr. Terezakis, he doesnt discriminate against anybody. He tells you the truth and not what you want to hear. If there's a possibility of winning your case he'll help you otherwise he wont take your case. I would recommend his services, he is very honest.
