Gave this place a try. Was thinking about good food. But meat wasn't cooked properly. Lamb was also gamier than usual. Middle eastern food isn't supposed to be RAW meat...regret going there and wasting my money.

Absolutely delicious food at this place. I ordered the lamb curry and my friend had the Moroccan lamb with dates. The leg of lamb was very tender. The falafel we had as an appetizer was excellent. The pita bread brought out before the meal was decent, and my bulgur pilaf was spiced very well. Hash O Nash offers tasty, authentic, quality food.

I ordered the half and half shawarma and a side of falafel. The order was ready right away for pick up. But the pita and falafel were very dry and the chicken and the lamb were very salty. Not worth what I paid for it.

First timer at this place and experience was nothing special. I thought I would rave about this place but it’s forgettable when it comes to taste. Maybe just not my type of cuisine? I prefer the halal street foods in the city much tastier. The chicken was good but I didn’t like the lamb. The only thing I liked was their bomb onion rings. I don’t understand how I got charged twice for drinks when the waitress served me mostly ice in a jar. One sip and the drink was gone. The interior is nice and clean and I give props to that. I do feel uncomfortable when I can see the chef or owner keep sticking out his neck I can almost feel him breathing towards us to leave . I was making comments that I didn’t like the food and it’s tasteless. I don’t know this is just me I’m nothing special either but yes I won’t come back again. Just giving my honest review lol.

Really great food and overall feels very culturally authentic!

The falafels were really good. Everything else tasted ok. No water was offered and the service was not very desirable. Although all our questions were answered clearly.

We ate here last night and I’m STILL salivating at how excellent our meal was. The service was great, the bathrooms are clean and the food is HOT.

We got:: black bean hummus (never doing anything else now), gyro platter and mint teas. All traditional and the decor was actually Jordanian. Love this place

We came in on a Monday, the first customers for the day. Food and drinks were fresh and generous; we'll come back.

All right! I hate doing this but this place does not even deserve one star after my experience with them tonight. First of all, the manager tries to look nice to customers but behind the counter he keeps eating and chewing stuff. Also, he works with a short and flip-flops and dirty toenails. I was begging not to have him next to my table. This is the cosmetic part. What about the the price and the taste of the food? Disappointment! Everything is overpriced for its portion and taste. I ordered chicken and lamb shish kebob and there was nothing special about them at all. They come with greek salad and fries. The only thing I liked in that platter was fries. The salad was so dry and the tomatoes and cucumbers were not fresh at all. I am not even talking about the appetizer and the amount of the time we had to wait for our food in a two table occupied restaurant. Their restroom looks clean,however, they do not even have a hanger for the paper towel and it stays on top of the toilet. It was not hygienic. To sum up, if you really want to eat Mediterranean food, just go to a Greek or Turkish restaurant. STAY AWAY from this place unless you have money to throw in the garbage.

One of the worst middle eastern restaurants I have ever encountered, it’s has weird smell throughput the whole store as soon as I walked in , both the chicken and beer shawarma was just plain nasty and over seasoned ,the lamb gyro meat was in thick chunks and almost looked like it was raw ,barely cooked! And the falafel was very regular tasting like it can’t from a tub to a fryer .and veggies weren’t even fresh.The place looked nice had a nice middle eastern theme going on there throughout and the was interesting.but I would not recommend this place at all go see for yourself , I ended up paying and getting pizza down the block .overall bad experience

absolutely amazing food and service

Very quiet. Good food

A few of us went there last night to break our fast during the month of Ramadan. The owners and staff are Muslim. When we arrived, we informed them of our fast and the time we needed to break it. Still, 10 minutes passed and we weren't even served water, let alone greeted or had our orders taken. We then urged a busy staff member (who was busy with take out orders it seemed) to assist us. She hurriedly tried, yet had to stop in the middle because her boss rudely interrupted her and said she had to go. She told him to take over our orders, it took him another 2 minutes to help us. He also seemed hurried and not at all happy, didn't crack a smile or ask us how we are doing. It's a good thing we brought dates with us to break fast because more minutes passed and still have no water.

2 important things: we arrived purposefully 25 minutes before the breaking fast time. Also there were only 2 other tables with people in the entire restaurant. So not sure why the delay or rudeness. Or why it took 25 minutes to get water.

Food: Mixed plate appetizer was good. Meat shawarma was good. Salmon was good. Both lamb dishes which were ordered were undercooked and very gamey tasting.

their lentil soup, anything lamb in this place, as well as their grilled salmon kabob which they'll cook to your preference is just delicious. just be aware that for the salmon, they serve it under a layer of pita bread, so if you are very picky about how it's cooked and prefer it be medium rare, take that pita off right away, or else it will continue to cook under there!! Or just request they maybe leave the pita off.

Too large portions and too fatty and salty...

The worst ‘Lebanese’ food I’ve ever ‘tried’ to eat. The mixed grill was either over cooked and like rubber or very undercooked. It was A Saturday evening and there was no one else there (obviously people aware)!! 1 waitress running back and forth but very inexperienced. Deserts also very poor.......find somewhere else!

Ordered from this restaurant for the first time tonight and loved it! Hummus was delicious, grilled meats were all perfectly made and falafel was good. The pita could be improved but they served them warm and delivery was fast. Will go back again for sure

Hash O Nash makes absolutely delicious, unique, and flavorful food. We had a few friends over for dinner and ordered delivery from there. The delivery came fast and everybody was raving about the food. Everything was perfectly spiced, tasted fresh, and left everyone full and satisfied. Highly recommended!

I take my family with small children here for lunch on Mondays occasionally, and it's always quiet and non stressful with the kids. The food is amazing, I love getting the Gyro platter with the small side salad and a stuffed grape leaf.

I am in Mamaroneck for two weeks every year and love this place.

Delicious food, beautiful middle eastern decorations and very friendly staff. We went there on a Friday night and they had a very good belly dancer performing. We will be back!

The food was so so. We picked this restaurant because they advertise BYOB. But when we got there, they told us, that we have to pay $15 cork fee. It wasn't mentioned in advertising. We were very upset.

I'm there now. Excellent, simple salad. Top notch, tasty falafel. Friendly staff.

The take out and a few of their deliveries have been super cold and stale. Very disappointing. Wont go back.

Very quiet during lunch, recently renovated, may be new owners but the food and service was excellent.

Really excellent spot, easy ordering with seamless, great 10 dollar lunch specials and easy pickup. Go with the Falafel Burger.

Best middle eastern food in the area!

Always surprised there is not a line out the door. This restaurant is wonderful! Fresh, delicious, and a wide variety. The house made pickles (dine in) are a treat and delivery is fast. We are fans!

I don't like it. The food wasn't good at all. We ate middle eastern food in other places much better than this place and with reasonable prices.

Loved it a nice fusion of all foods Mediterranean including some of their own. Appetizers are a good choice for sampling, had Moroccan Cigars, nice... and split an entre. Definitely worth a stop if you are down in Mamaroneck

I enjoy food from all nations and love trying new things. On my first visit, I got the gyro platter which was good. My friend had goulash which she said was okay but nothing to rave about. The service was adequate as the wait staff was abrupt and not very personable.

I work down the street from the restaurant, and our staff was looking for something for lunch. I suggested Hash O'Nash as the take out menu states "Free Delivery" and there is nothing stating a minimum. We placed our order by phone, and were told the total was $21. Within minutes, the staff called back and curtly stated that the minimum for delivery was $50. Needless to say, we canceled our order and went somewhere else.

There are too many restaurants on the same street for this establishment not to treat its customers with a little more tact and respect. And if there is such a high minimum for delivery, it should be stated on the take out menu AND the staff should inform customers who call.

the best I ever had...most try the stuffed cabbage or lamb curry it was the best....hummus creamy and authentic like I had in middle east, falafel crunchy and full of flavor ...must try this place u wont be sorry its our new favorite restaurant

The food was very good and the portions were HUGE! The friendly staff took the time to accommodate my food allergies. The decor was nice--nothing special but the place was spotless.
