STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF MONEY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE OUTCOME.
Initially I thought he would be a great attorney. However, he turned out hurting me because of paperwork that he filed that I was not fully informed about by him. This ended up being quite a setback and took a new attorney quite a lot of work to correct.
He bills EXTREMELY high for his work. I questioned him about what he was actually doing that he would bill me so much. He was angry that I asked him and said that I hired the best and that's just what his bill is going to be. I never got a clear answer as to why it was so much - there was not anything really to do in the case at that point. The second time that I asked him why his bill was so high, he actually told me that I should look for another Attorney. He then dropped me as a client without my knowledge and I found out days later from a letter from the court.
I would NOT recommend Stephen Jewell to anyone. If you are looking for a good attorney would like to have a great attorney's referral please contact me.
