I would Not recommend this lady. She does not put children in her best interest. She was friends with my ex wife’s attorney and i seen Them both at lunch together during my custody trial. I hired her to look out for my kids and she looked out for her friend so she could win her case. She interviewed me for 5 min and never talked to again till trial. I ask For a visit at both houses to see what was going on. She ignored my request. What a joke!!!!!!

A guardian ad litem (GAL) is described as an individual that is supposed to be an objective, impartial person whom the court appoints to act as a representative for the minor children in a contested custody proceeding. My experience with Elizabeth has been nothing short of horrific. She does not take the time to truly research what’s going on and, in my case, did not take the time to visit my home, ask me relevant questions and definitely did not conduct any due diligence to understand my relationship, or lack thereof, with my ex-husband - which has ultimately affected my relationship with my children. From my research, I see that she has no psychological development training and in my opinion - should NOT be allowed to work with children due to the outcomes of her cases.

She has had more than one case end in suicide.

My hope is that in the future, Elizabeth can exercise objective reasoning when dealing with families as her lack of research and inability to look at the whole picture is not beneficial to anyone especially those involved in stressful, expensive court cases.

I'm an attorney and I would hire this attorney to represent me! Ms. Kellner-Nelson is reasonable, knowledgeable, and professional. In the courtroom she is a force to be reckoned with! I would recommend her without hesitation!
