I was surprised by a continued contact with an individual, unfortunately for me, I tried to work things out like people should. This sent things in a legal spiral where I was left with one option. Thankfully Ellis Law (Mr. Nick Carda) was there to arrest my fall. Without their insight and legal expertise I am sure that I would have been in a much more difficult position than I was able to land. There may have been some difficult choices but in the end, I was able to maintain my military bearing and know that I conducted myself in a manner that allowed my family to be proud, I am the fortunate one to have had their team protecting me from more than an individual. I hired him to help me with my situation in 2017. It is now 2019 and I am still dealing with the ramifications of his work.
Communication is not one of his strong suits. He will email you vague, if not incorrect information. I also, am up in the air about my current situation. It seems what he lead me to believe is not true. The vague communication could be the reason for this, but I am not sure. He returned the remaining amount of money, but the situation does not seem to be handled properly. What frustrates me the most is you put your trust, money and future into a man whom acts like this isn't of any importance to him. I would suggest anybody looking for an attorney/ lawyer should go elsewhere.

When I asked Ashley, the receptionist, how much to form a DBA, she told me it was $5 to form a DBA. Two days later, she emailed me telling me they were going to charge me $75 more for their services. This is the second time their services have been less than par due to poor communication. I do not recommend this firm due to the lack of communication to their clients who are not a "priority" to them. Another attorney informed me this isn't very professional. Law firms need to be forward and direct with the fees they charge and not so "Shady".
