I met with the leader she said my separation would cost me 3000.00 retainer but she saw no reason why it would cost any more. She also stated that she would give me someone cheaper. Now I’m probably naive but I really didn’t realize what some of these people pay themselves an hour. I gave her a 3000.00 retainer. There were no issues to fight about and we had everything decided. Tricia said she didn’t see any reason why it would cost more than the 3000.00 retainer she wanted. So as a disabled person with a fixed income with two girls and borrowed the retainer. The case was finished in three months. Now I was not paying attention to my emailed invoices because I took Trisha at her word. I did this due to the fact the only two lawyers I have ever know are most honorable, Michael Kalland and Lisa Napier. So when the case was settled I called the office and talked to probably the legal secretary/receptionist who told me I owed an additional 1600.00. I was floored and got off the phone. I then went over the invoices. There were charges for a phone call I had with the lawyer who was not Trisha ( cause she was CHEAPER) which lasted three minutes and was charged like 25.00, another I remember was an email for 75.00. I was like what.... Since I’m on a fixed income and didn’t have a way to pay 1600 at the drop of a hat I didn’t know what I would do. So I avoided it until two to three weeks later when I got another email, invoice, and attachment that said they basically filed to withdraw as my attorney for unpaid fees. Really So I call and again talk to the receptionist/legal secretary and I state that I was told this should not be more than the retainer. I was at that time told if I brought CASH I would get a 200.00 discount. So I again had to borrow money to pay again and I gave them their CASH. I was basically told well stuff happens and the retainer is no quote on price. Let me tell you this basic decency would not require me to worry about a firm I hired to keep the “heart” of their word. This review is basically a disclaimer “buyer beware”. If you have unlimited funds than they will probably do a great job for you. But if you’re a person who lives below the poverty level and do not have unlimited funds then I would not recommend this firm. Contrarily, Jeff and Goostree Law Group have worked with me on outstanding monthly balances through the years. Furthermore, Jeff professionally advocates on my behalf and is thoughtful, putting my son’s best interest first. For example, when I have wanted to escalate various issues, Jeff has provided legal counsel and ways to navigate the “system” to help us achieve desired outcomes. My ex-girlfriend and family have tried to financially bully me into litigation, but Jeff’s keen understanding of the law has aided in justification of submitting petitions at the “right” time. While Jeff and Goostree Law Group cannot change family law, they sure in hell can help you get the appropriate outcomes you need.

Wow! Sorry Tricia, you raked me over and I was lost in the shuffle while you were taking over the firm. Never told of Alex leaving / or fired and my case was doomed then. Why you then filed to leave my case after $30k plus paid in full? Where is the compassion for those going through such turmoile? Really? "Keep Lines Open for Communication" I did all the ground work and sent to you, I was then charged for this. The 2nd biggest mistake of my life was believing in you and I liked you. You know what you did. People do you research on firms.

I have worked with Jeff Muntz for over four years in the post-decree matter of my former marriage. While having to file numerous petitions and motions, and he took the lead the whole time and knew exactly what to do and what would be most effective. I recently had some issues with a former co-worker he had made some false allegations on a court order. I found Goostree Law Group randomly on line. I emailed them my situation to see what their recommendation to do was. I was surprised to receive a call so quickly from them which I appreciated. The night before the court date I received a call from Marcee that she was going to be handling the case in court. Divorce is an awful experience. It's emotional - even if it's cordial. Because divorce is emotional, getting the right attorney is beyond critical!
