She was very informative and answered all questions the first time talking to her. Then when we had additional questions and required something for the closing, we had to continuously reach out to her and would leave voicemails/emails. We would then receive an email, not even a phone call back, from her assistant instead without answering any of our questions. We were very disappointed with the lack of communication!
On the day of the closing, she came off very arrogant and it seemed like she was only there to receive her check. We were wasting her time and the meeting went over her scheduled appointment. She made sure to let us know that she was missing her appointment.
We were highly disappointed with her and would not recommend her to any family or friends.
I do not have a law degree in real estate - I just read the fine print, double check numbers and ask questions. I found over $1500 in errors overseen by Lauren during the purchase of our new home. She never submitted the seller's credit to our lender, miscalculated tax interest, didn't catch the title companies duplicate charges and so forth.
The day of the closing I was unable to be present and my wife had to sign on my behalf. I told her to ask Lauren to have the closer remove the duplicate charges, as well as, a wire fee that should not have been charged. Lauren's response to my wife was to eat the charges (even though they were false) as to not prolong the closing appointment. After pulling me out of a meeting, I got on the phone with Lauren and told her that we would not "eat the fees" no matter how nominal they seemed to her. She proceeded to scream at me in front of the entire closing table (the seller, seller's attn, closing agent, my wife...)telling me she was not being paid enough to deal with me and that I was too difficult a client at which point she HUNG up on me and dropped (my wife's cell phone on the table) and stormed out. She NEVER apologized for her extremely rude behavior and although she finished the "closing" I spent the morning anxious and frustrated that she was not representing our interests. HUGE mistake hiring her.
She helped my husband and I with our estate planning.
Lauren listened to our needs and made the appropriate recommendations.
Lauren was very easy to speak with and has a warm and kind disposition.
I would MOST definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking to move forward with their Estate Planning.
