One of the worst experiences dealing with Theresa and her representation. I would not refer her to my worst enemy. She did the absolute minimal and charged me ridiculously. My case was delayed time after time because it was apparent that she was never prepared in time, and I felt she never took the time to actually work in my case & charged me for it! It truly felt she was working for the other side instead of me. It was clear she would get upset when I would not agree with the terms the opposite side wanted to settle on which was completely absurd! Even though I did my research prior to approaching her and reviews were above average, I wish I would have done a better job because this was AGONIZING!

She was kind and compassionate and listened to me and made me feel at ease. She predicted exactly how the divorce proceedings would go and even though I thought she was wrong and things would not become that ugly, she was right in every aspect. She is too busy to represent anyone. In almost a year and a half she has made zero progress. She didn’t communicate about court dates, took 3 weeks to send the opposing lawyer an email, and has spent less than one hour explaining anything throughout the entire time. All lawyers are bad but she has no clue. Lori in her office was awesome. Too bad she wasn’t in charge of my case.

Terri McAdams is an amazing attorney she fights for you till the end I had a DUI case against me with not alot of evidence against me and we took the case to trial and she help me get a not guilty i appreciate everything she did for me I highly recommend her.

I would very highly recommend Teresa McAdams for family law matters and other legal needs. Teresa helped me with a prenuptial agreement and some related documents. She did a great job drafting the necessary documents, explaining every aspect of them, and also explaining the relevant law and how it would impact my agreement. She has a very direct, personable style and was just incredibly helpful throughout the process. And, also very importantly, her fees were extremely reasonable and fair.

When I went to gain custody of my daughter, not knowing anything about court, I went to a number of lawyers from Downtown Chicago, Naperville, Aurora, etc and they all wanted me to just settle and give in so they didn't have to fight the tuff fight for me to get custody of my 4 yr daughter since I was a man.
