Not transparent at all with costs. They really don't care about the people involved. They are only focused on payday.

I would give zero stars if I could. I used Mrs. Vahey for my divorce. The divorce dragged on for 3 years, even after the papers were signed she left many outstanding issues which has me in court to this day (7 months later). She was not transparent at all. Did not give me advice. Every time i spoke with her she was rude and condescending. She believes she was the best lawyer in the world because she got me exactly what the law states should have been done, but it cost me everything I had. Throughout the process she was rude and very unprofessional. I was afraid to say anything to her, she always made me feel like I was bothering her or wrong for anything I brought up. When we were finally in court to sign the divorce papers she was unprepared. Let her personal emotions get the best of her. Yelled at me and treated me like garbage the entire day. She was so unprepared that it was extended on to the next day. She apologized for being so rude to me the previous day but it didn't stop her from being rude that day as well. After all was said and done I continued to use Mrs. Vahey for post decree work since I wasn't going to hire another attorney to close out what she was supposed to close out. I could not afford her anymore. She quit as my lawyer and motioned up for her fees right away. When we were there for the hearing a month later she screamed at me in the hallway calling me a thief. Told me I was stealing from her, hundreds of people standing in the hallways heard her do this. It was the most unprofessional series of events I have ever witnessed. I do not believe she has her head on straight and should not represent anyone going though the roughest time in their life. She is not emotionally equipped to treat people like humans. Rather then like she is above them all and she has a right to talk to you like you are garbage. Funny thing is that it took her one court date to get a judgement against me, I was pro-se and she's a lawyer. Of course she was going to win. But she was very prepared and took care of it right then and there that day. Didn't drag it on for 3 years....and she had the audacity to call me a thief.

Do not use this law group. They take your Money and leave you without representation. We still won our case without representation. Just have to do some home work and use the truth and the power of the internet and you to Will be better off then using this unprofessional law firm. Read reviews and don't be imitated by the court system. Anyone can go in front of a judge and act like they know what there doing and not have a clue on how to deal with the case they were hired to do. Look else where and read reviews. Also a lot of 5 star reviews are posted be family, friends and co workers so don't believe all 5 star reviews.
