These guys are horrible. First court date the Lawyer showed up late didn’t even know he had to come. Second court date came around another lawyer showed up and all she did was fix the other lawyers promblems that he had done. They sent me go another courtroom I wasn’t suppose to go to. The lawyers were extremely rude and one actually racist saying that “ oh I deal with your kind all the time” like seriously?! This was my first time having to get a lawyer and had to deal with these scums. Nothing but wasting my time and money. They call themselves lawyers but they are just idiot with certificates.

I have not met the namesake attorneys but I sat down and talked to Alex who is a newer attorney there. He used scare tactics, spoke about other clients using names in front of me, and made snide comments about me and my case. Very unprofessional and to top it off there was a cat walking around the “office/house.” Save your money!

These guys are scum balls! My sister went to them to enforce a judgement of child support. She paid a 3500.00 retainer and then was due a refund of over 900 when the case was over 18 months later based on the detailed billing they provided her. She received a letter stating the refund check was enclosed, but it was not. When she continued to inquire they adjusted the detailed billing to bring her balance to 0.00 and not issue her a refund. By the way, she still has yet to receive a cent of child support. Spend your money elsewhere. They charged literally for every email she sent, and every phone call she made inquiring about the case. Do not use McNamee and Mahoney! Tell all your friends, I will!

5 Star Law Firm! Tim Mahoney is the best attorney in Kane & McHenry County. Mr. Mahoney represented me during a horrible time in my life. My ex-wife went totally mental after i gave her divorce papers and has done everything in her power to destroy me and my reputation. Her main purpose in life was to make sure i never see my kids again so she made up all kinds of lies in an attempt to manipulate the legal system with her paralegal friend that specializes in family court.
Mr. Mahoney fought and won case after case brought up against me by my ex from the Sleepy Hollow Police department, Algonquin Police Department & Huntley Police Department. The Huntley & Algonquin police departments quickly realized that a 4 year divorce and 7 divorce attorneys that were hired and fired by my ex equals a vindictive ex-wife so they dropped their cases. Sleepy Hollow wasn't that smart they followed through and lost in court thanks to Mr. Mahoney. Judge McAdams (the judge overseeing the case) called out the states attorney department and the Sleepy Hollow Police department for bringing this garbage into his court room. He wasn't done he called my ex a sociopathic liar in court and throw it all out. Thank you Mr. Mahoney!
Mr. Mahoney was able to get the case expunged and my record has zero items on it just like the day i gave my psychotic ex divorce papers. I highly recommend Mr. Mahoney's law firm. You will not get better legal counsel, advice and direction than through Mr. Mahoney's law firm.

Where do I start with this review. We were referred to McNamee & Maheney Ltd. by a close friend and contacted them right away, gave our deposit and we never heard from them for over a year. We tried and tried to contact the office and always got told that our message was left for our lawyer, come to find out he did not even work there anymore and our case was forgotten about. We tried for another couple months to get answers and got nothing. We finally got an appointment, when we showed up they said the lawyer was on vacation and we still could not get our deposit back, and they would send a check in the mail. Two weeks went by and I called to see if it was in the mail, and they had not sent it and would put in directly in our account, finally three days later it was there. So bottom line if you want to get ignored and forgot about go with McNamee & Mahoney, but save your money and find another lawyer!
