Took forever to get back with me just to tell me that she couldn't take the case. I called on the 13, yes, but they did not get back with me til the 19th, after I left NUMEROUS calls. I have the message on my voicemail to call the office back dated the 19th.

I am so appreciative of Attorney Hine. I hired her the first time 6 years ago to help me with guardianship of my then 4 yo great nephew. Mrs. Hine was very prepared for the situation and great to guide me in bad circumstances.

As if going through a divorce isnt stressful enough! Basically I consulted her on being in charge of and filing for my divorce. She said she would charge me $700 flat rate... paid promptly and in cash. She never gave me a bill. I go to the office in the a.m. to pay my bill and the desk lady tells me I owe $700...I pay her, in cash and get a receipt. Then they call me saying there was a mistake and its actually $750. The lawyer stoops so low as to tell me that she never could have told me $700 because she always charges 750. Well then that would make me stupid or deaf.

I even told them I wouldnt mind paying it if they made an honest mistake and told me the wrong amount. Instead, they treated me like I was a liar and trying to sneak $50 from under their noses. So I got my money back. She let her Ego get in the way and never even apologized for the 'mistake' of her receptionist charging me the wrong amount, which just so happened to be the amount I 'thought' she told me during the consultation. Apparently I'm doing a lot better then she is financially.
