Peter Johnson is an attorney known in berrien county. Originally interviewed for a civil suite. But never hired because suite was never filed
Well to publicly post on behalf of myself not the person who hacked my email and gave you one star... My legal name is sara purcell not rodgers so i did in fact change that for you all..and Yes in fact you are representing my ex-husband in a case but once upon a time you defended me too at some expense and you were quite professional. That was up until now when i recieved an email saying my account was accessed from an unknown server and then that i had a comedic comment from you... Please lets keep this to the court room and beahve professional. Thank you Sara purcell

Worst lawyer with Alcohol breath 8.30am in the morning. I am out of state and when i called him he kept saying that if we dont get a good deal in pre-trial then we will go to trial and possibly even get it dismissed. So I hired Peter J. Johnson for my Speeding ticket paying his fee of $400 and all he did was a 5mins meeting with procecuter to reduce 2 point offence to 1 point offence in a pre trail. Instead of convincing the procecuter he kept convincing me to take the deal and not let it go to trial. Total BS.
In summary I total paid $535 between the lawyer and the court and still got the ticket on my record.

Worthless - I would have gotten the same result representing myself. Hired this attorney based on his rate. The bottom line is that I threw $550 out the window. From the beginning, he said that he knew the prosecutor AND the cop who issued the citation. Said that he already had a plan how to get me a lesser violation. After I paid, the only thing he did was submit my plea (I could’ve mailed it for 49 cents). Then, 3 weeks passed with me calling several times and him telling me all kinds of BS stories: he couldn’t reach the prosecutor, he or she was in meetings all day, he couldn’t reach the cop (who knows why he needed to speak with the cop?) etc. Then, on the day of the hearing, I saw him talk to the prosecutor literarily less than a minute. Basically, she told him what violation she’s going with and he nodded. Then, approached me and said it was the best that could be done in my case. Great job, what an effort! I wish I were familiar with the process so I could just represent myself. Next time, I’m not going to hire anyone for a traffic ticket. Unfortunately, this silly ticket was a misdemeanor in MI, and it was the main reason I hired this worthless guy. There’s one positive note in this experience though: at least I didn’t hire other lawyers in the area (some quoted me 3 times his rate). I am certain that these other guys would’ve put the exact same amount of effort in my case and gotten the same result. I’m a realistic person and I didn’t expect this guy to move mountains for me. He could’ve easily been honest and transparent with me by saying what the prosecutor was likely to agree to without all the stories and connections and promises to fight for me etc. Oh well, lesson learned.

Went above and beyond spending countless hours researching etc. This because they cared as they couldn't possibly have billed for the hours that went into preparation.

Promised the world before payment was made and after payment was made, had a completely different level of service. I believe I would have received better representation from a public defender. Left feeling very deceived.

If I have problems in Berrien County. Peter Johnson is my guy. There are attorneys, then there is Peter Jonson. I highly recommend him.
