I have the privilege of knowing Andrea Halpin and another attorney in the office. Both of these attorneys are excellent. They have the care, knowledge and compassion to walk along side of you to resolve your situation.

Andrea Halpin was nothing short of deficient in our case. We compromised and allowed Halpin to be appointed as a limited GAL during a mediation with an opposing sibling, regarding guardianship of our parent. Halpin was appointed as a limited guardian ad litem, which we agreed to in mediation; Halpin met her protected person only twice, for under 5 minutes on each visit. The second time she checked on her client was within an hour of having to testify in court about said client! Halpin's communication was non-existent; she didn't answer her e-mails and didn't return calls; we have the e-mail records to prove it. Halpin failed to visit, call, e-mail, or text her client or me, the legal guardian, for the 14 months prior to her client's death. Halpin was disinterested in her client's welfare, unprofessional by not responding to the concerned children of her client , ill-prepared in court by not knowing the facts and information needed in court, and unresponsive and disrespectful to the legal guardian and other adult children. The money we spent for Andrea Halpin's "services," or lack thereof, was a complete waste.

I agree with the other reviewer. I am making payments on my brother's behalf and have not received a summary or statement of what is still owed or anything. I always keep proof of payments however. They tried to say we hadn't paid for two months but I have proof! Now our calls aren't returned!

Although this office does well regarding arrangements of payments, they are HORRIBLE in providing prove of payments made or providing any sort of statement. Even if the customer requests a statement or receipt for specific purpose i.e. employment, he/she may have to wait several weeks/months to receive the item, if ever. The customer may even be told to calculate on their own what still needs to be paid. It is amazing how unprofessional and rude the paying customer is treated by this office.
