Strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a criminal defense attorney. If this office is court appointed and you don't want to do jail time ask for another public defender. One of the worst public defenders and unprofessional attorneys I have ever dealt with. Mr. Tipton's use of profanity when dealing with clients or their family members is appalling. If you question his motives or lack of diligence he instructs his staff to refuse your calls. File a complaint and he drops his clients. Mr. Tipton needs to remember the Oath of Attorneys to which he swore by.

Mr. Tipton is so busy that he's never in the office when he is supposed to be. His office got the time of my hearings wrong multiple times and then suddenly he dropped me as a client, in court, at a hearing, because of a conflict, without any previous notice.

Charged me. Then said I was a client that made him look bad and then dI'd not return the money. Do not use this guy.
