Ted Tucker did an amazing job working with the judges to quickly resolve a matter with my son that was very time sensitive. You can tell he has been around, and is familiar with the family courts in Lucas county. I had planned to use him again if it were not for the matter below.
Be weary if you set up a payment plan. I am sure there was some fine print that I missed when I signed all of the initial paperwork at the very beginning, but it was not explained clearly when the agreement to pay monthly toward my balance was agreed upon. A 9 month payment plan cost almost $200 extra dollars. Had I known there was a 40% finance charge I would have just put it on a credit card! Frustrating especially when you are happy to have paid off a debt only to find out 6 months later that there were hefty finance charges and extra fees. When I called to discuss the matter his receptionist/wife was demeaning and rude; this was her demeanor from the beginning so I was not surprised.
If you are able to pay attorney fees in full, Ted is still the way to go. He is straight forward, and gets things done.

Ted’s wife and receptionist, has no people skills and is very unprofessional. Ted was very little help. It is so hard to get any information from them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Tucker never told us how much we were being charged after the retainer fee, until we lost in court and received a bill of almost $10,000. When my husband asked Mr. Tucker how much he would be charged after the retainer fee, he answered with "we'll worry about that when we get to that point". Never heard anything more until we received the bill. He was very hard to communicate with and never helped us to fully understand what was going on in the custody battle. So almost $10,000 later, he didn't do anything for us and the kids are still on the same every other weekend schedule. He's a joke.
