You're the epitomy of what people think of when they visualize a nasty, vile, underhanded shister attorney. Congratulations.

How low in life does one have to be to strong arm families over lunch debts? Did your follow up response uplift you in any bit? An attempt, classless and cowardly at extortion. How does it feel risking children's security and sanctum, a mere expense for you to balance out the books for a bonus? Your unethical attempt should qualify you to be disbarred.

As an attorney, I'd like to thank you for creating an even WORSE impression on the public than I thought was possible.

Oh, 1.3 stars in Kingston. I guess the last thing left for bottom feeders is debt collection for school lunches from kids who cant afford it.

You turned down money to clear the whole debt, what are you ?

People with no soul.

PS HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LOSE MR. POTTS ?

What a dirtbag. We need less of this in our area.

For an attorney he has a surprisingly limited understanding of family law. A parent owing lunch money is not grounds for removal of a child. It's not even grounds for an investigation. Hence, he has been publicly rebuked by the local child welfare department. Even so he remains unrepentant as to the damage his fear-mongering has caused and actually seems quite pleased with himself.
Either he is ignorant of the law or he deliberately makes false threats hoping the recipients won't know the threats aren't enforceable. Either way his conduct shows he is neither a good attorney nor a man of integrity.

Represents the worst this country has to offer, in my opinion.

"Where did that $75 go? Is it going to cigarettes? Is it going to alcohol? We don't know. That's right, we don't know that," Coslett added.

This is the type of person who deserves to be poor and kicked on the street

How are children supposed to learn when they are in fear of being taken from their families just because they don't make enough money?
You are making children scared, and the comments you have made have been out of this world crazy balls dude.

I'm sure the school's really enjoying the hole you dug them and yourself.

My mom did what she could with two kids and rent and couldn't afford to pay for our lunch. Free & reduced lunches weren't even provided and they treated my brother and I poorly. Like what's the use? Our grades and attitudes were worse stemming from this and other issues from being poor.

I wish I could give a zero-star rating to a such a horrifyingly cruel “law firm.”

This poorly educated deadbeat failed to protect his own marriage and had difficulty maintaining visitation rights of his *own* children. He is in no position to advocate for or criticize other families.

Pick a law firm that has morals. This once does not

“Wyoming Valley West’s lawyer, Charles Coslett, said he did not consider the letters to be threatening.

“Hopefully, that gets their attention and it certainly did, didn’t it? I mean, if you think about it, you’re here this morning because some parents cried foul because he or she doesn’t want to pay a debt attributed to feeding their kids. How shameful,” Coslett told WYOU-TV.”

Have you ever thought to look in the mirror? You are a pathetic excuse for a human. Criticizing people that don't have the means. How about your unsuccessful law firm, man up and pay the lunch bill for all these students!! I can't wait for the karma coming your way!!

Just resign. The fact that you passed undergrad let alone law school or the bar exam is astounding. Stop projecting you’re own failed marriages onto the children of your community. You should be ashamed

Can’t get much lower than scare tactics of sending letters to parents threatening the loss of custody over past due lunch room tabs

This firm helped a school district extort it's most vulnerable families. FInd a lawyer less willing to bend the law for personal gain.

Threatening to put kids in foster care whose parents can't afford school lunch? These people represent the worst in our society.

Horrible scare tactics, threatening parents with the loss of their child. Business has ZERO integrity!!

Imagine threatening to take custody from parents because of unpaid school lunch bills

Horrible place that threaten to take kids away from their parents, over them not being able to afford their kids lunch. Food should be a human right.
