A trusted friend referred us to Walter Grabowski when a new and litigious neighbor, a lawyer, no less, decided he didn’t like the long standing easement that we had to use 285 sf of his recently-purchased property. Our neighbor’s intent was never to actually go to trial. He had no actual case against us. He simply didn’t like the easement agreement which had been negotiated with his predecessor in title. He filed the case in an attempt to pressure us to give up the easement. Walter is well-versed in real estate law – and in triangulating the “what-if” considerations when developing a sound legal strategy. He is a calm, reflective individual who, despite a vast knowledge of law, never talked over our heads nor seemed to tire of our questions. Walter is an honest and straightforward individual who never missed a promised deadline and kept us thoroughly informed regarding every step in the process. As the daughter of a judge, I was particularly impressed with Walter’s grasp of the law and his willingness to honestly say “I don’t know, but I’ll find out” when he might have otherwise tried to b.s. us. Finally, Walter’s bills were detailed and fair. No matter what our opponent threw our way, Walter outmaneuvered him. Walter’s steadfast approach prevailed and our litigious neighbor withdrew his baseless claim after it became crystal clear that Walter was no match for him.
