Absolutely terrible. As a review written by Brooke said, very unprofessional and she too was for my child's father the whole time. Will start off with how she didn't reach back out to me for months when she was appointed my lawyer. When she did reach back it was through text message which is also very unprofessional but it was 3 weeks before court and she only did cause I called the court to figure out why I didn't speak with her yet. She was against me from the start, always thought I was lying so she had to reread what she wrote from what I said to her from our meetings an would say "oh okay you're right". Of course I'm right! I'm not lying I was trying to prove how unfit my child's father was but she didn't care about that, she didn't care about anything not even how unsafe it was for my child in a environment with a unfit parent. The only thing she cared about was getting paid and settling it without trial. I wanted to go to trial from the start but she always persuaded me against it. She persuaded me into things that would be better for my child's father instead of her own client. My child's father didn't do what he had to do but some how he still got what he wanted. She's highly unprofessional, steered myself and my child in the wrong direction and lied on multiple occasions. She specifically lied to me and told me that my child's father could not be drug tested by the judge no matter how much I wanted him to be. So she lied right there and I wish I knew it at the time because I would have said something to her about it and then asked for a new lawyer considering I only had 2 meetings when it should have been 3. I'm sure she knows who this is and I hope she sees this to know that she let us down and I would thank you Joan Mencel but you put my child and myself in a predicament but as long as you're getting paid by the tax dollars that's all that matters right? A quick settle with quick paperwork and no trial easy money I understand. No empathy for one's child.

Super, super bad attorney. She is supposed to be my son's attorney and it's more likely she works for my sons father. She could care less about being an AFC for children. As long as she gets paid by the tax payers. Super, super bad. Couldn't even introduce herself to me, being my sons mother. Highly unprofessional on all accounts
