I wrote a review of this lawyer that was that has 5 likes. Here is more It was a nightmare experience. When I finally got good advice my divorce proceeded and I did well. It took my opp 8 weeks to bother to answer. That's a default but nothing was done. Two identical complaints were entered and I was charged for both despite the fact they were identical. Divorce is a tough ordeal. This practioner made it a crucible. Go anywhere else.And read her response to my review. I wish I had hired anybody else.

I was referred to The law office of Heather Kitchen when I was having issues with my ex husband not following our original divorce decree and could not have been happier with both Heather and her staff! I wish I had found Heather sooner! Heather and her staff are the best!!!

I Highly recommend Heather Kitchen. Thankfully I was refer to Heather Kitchen by a family member after I was taking advantage of and screw over by Steven Klein & Associates. The staff at Heather Kitchen law firm was able to correct and coordinate all the damage that was initially done by Steven Klein. I was able to work with Heather Kitchen and her team to put together an actual plan on how to positively pursue the completion of my pending divorce. I was met with empathy and kindness. Heather Kitchen and her staff were professional, hands-on, reactive, supportive, direct and clear. When my case needed added attention and clarity, there were no delay, when I was in need of a stern voice of advocacy they were there for me. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or as if billing was the priority. Heather Kitchen immediately response to my email and is attentive to my concerns. More importantly she kept me focused and my eyes towards the end goal. In the end I realize this is the most important trait in a divorce attorney. The paralegal Debbie Stinson always got my messages to her and got back to me in a timely manner, produced concise documents and made sure I was given copies and was in general extremely competent before and leading up to the trial. In the end Heather Kitchen secured a settlement that I was extremely pleased with. I highly recommend the law office of Heather Kitchen for all of your matrimonial and family law needs. You won’t be disappointed.

Heather and her staff are very caring, helpful and there for you emotional . They know your cases and they work very hard on them .. recommend them to my friends and family !! They are there for you to end and afterwards !!

I’m so happy we used Heather’s office. We had several cases including a complicated divorce and family court as well. Her knowledge of both was superlative, her fees were reasonable and she couldn’t have been nicer throughout both cases. I wouldn’t use anyone else!!

She was awful and I had to do my own research and give it to her to present. She also wanted me to settle which was not in my best interest. She didn’t do the work and cared more about getting home to her dog than fighting my case. Waste of money could have done it without her. Never would recommend her to anyone!

My divorce was an absolute nightmare. It started with Michael Varble as my attorney. He was so unethical that he is now disbarred. Heather took my case and it did not get any better. I understand that damage was done, but I do not believe Heather did anything to rectify it. And if she did, she certainly did not communicate that with me. Speaking of communication, I've never been spoken to in a such a rude and condescending manner since the nuns in elementary school. I recall once in the Family Court waiting room, Heather speaking to me so harshly that onlookers walked out shaking their heads. To think, I paid for her service.
I was ordered to pay $7100/month in spousal support during the divorce process (read paragraph C in the attachment). Since I could not pay (BTW, I earn $47,000/year), I was ordered to turn over $180, 000+ from my 401K. Heather was unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible, malfeasant, malicious and contemptible throughout the divorce process. I NEVER felt that she cared about me as a person, much less a dog. If I could have, I would have fired Heather and retained another attorney, But as you can deduce from the monetary figures mentioned about, I was nearly destitute.
I wish I was one of the 5-star ratings on Google. My divorce process (2 years) was so stressful that afterward I fell into a depression and I was prescribed an antidepressant. (I have the prescription to prove that.) I wrote this review as some sort of catharsis. I still don't feel better.

I have worked with Heather several times on real estate transactions. The paperwork is always done in a timely manner and if issues come up, she is quick to respond in order to get things on track again. Since she is not an alarmist, it really helps with calming down my buyers and sellers when things come up. Her administrative staff (Debbie) is always friendly on the phone and responds quickly when needed. I would highly recommend Heather and her staff for any real estate transaction. On a side note, i have had several clients that have needed to sell or buy something because they are going through a divorce.
