John Ianelli is a shister, I paid him 1500.00 dollars and he made a phone call for me, which I realized I could have just made myself and said sorry.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Listens tou youfinda the answer and doesn't speak Lawyer to you. He explains everything in a way you can understand it. He also has a very efficient staff as well.

Ianelli is a jerk off. He is a hustler, point blank. What decent lawyer says he or she can "do it all?" Only a smart, trusted lawyer practices one area of law, and knows it like the back of his or her hand. Let's not call this man a lawyer, let's either call him a hustler or an ambulance chaser. He is so unprofessional. He hangs up on people, he doesn't get his work done on time, and he's so expensive! I had to pay him thousands of dollars which was ridiculous!! When I began comparing him to other lawyers' costs and opinions my eyes were opened. This man is not only TERRIBLE he has no idea what he is doing and he only pretends he does just to get your money. Stay away. Far away.

John Ianelli really is the definition of corruption. This guy had me pay thousands of dollars in retainer fees, but then when I brought my case to him, he did not appear to have any knowledge on steps to be taken for my case. He seemed like he did at first, and I had to continue paying him for his time. I finally felt a gut feeling to switch attorneys and the other attorney, upon viewing the paperwork, saw very obvious mistakes that Ianelli made. I felt that I had been "had." I did not wish to pursue legal action against Ianelli because I had already plopped down so much money and my entire family felt emotionally spent from the situation. I just don't want others to fall down this same rabbit hole.

DO NOT HIRE. John R. Ianelli of Fishkill, New York has been officially reported to the Duchess County Bar Association Grievance Office.

When one of Ianelli's clients called him to have a question answered about a case for which he was hired, Ianelli would either not answer his client's calls, take a long time to call back his client, or hang up on his client when his client was in mid-sentence.

Not only did Ianelli hang up on his own client, he hung up on the other party involved in the case as well. The other party felt that this was extremely crass and disrespectful.

Ianelli manipulated and took advantage of his young, slightly naive (in terms of law knowledge) client, by instilling fear, anxiety, and false information. His client later found out the false information through the advice of a more knowledgeable attorney.

Ianelli did not complete his work in a reasonably and timely manner. He used snail mail in the digital age (no fax, scanner, or e-mail), so the other party in the case had to wait a very long time to receive the information that was needed.

These aforementioned things that Ianelli did--taking a long time to complete his work, selling incorrect knowledge to a client with no law experience--racked up very high and unnecessary expenses for both parties on both sides of the case (time equals money), which should have never happened.

Ianelli made many sophomoric mistakes in his paperwork as well, which were obvious to the the party on the other side.

Ianelli did not portray himself as a professional lawyer with integrity. If he was in over his head with this case, he should have acted honorably by referring his client elsewhere. He treated his own client poorly and unfairly.

Ianelli advertises himself as a "jack of all trades." On one website he is a property lawyer, and on another website he is a DUI lawyer, and on another website he looks like what one may call an "ambulance chaser." This is not normal.

John R. Ianelli acted in a way that showed ignorance and abhorrence, and he needs to be reported so that he does not take advantage of anyone else.

John has been my attorney for five years and I must say he is excellent attorney. He listen to your needs and do provide great counsel. I would recommend him to any small business that need guidance.
