I have known Bill for many years. He is one of the best, a great legal mind and trial lawyer with a dogged loyalty to his clients. The reviews less than 5 are far from accurate, in my opinion.

Contacted William Clendenen, who resides at 102 River Edge Farms Rd., Madison, CT 06443, regarding a medical malpractice case against Middlesex and Hartford Hospitals. Sent him a synopsis of my personal injury case, and called several times to find out if he was interested. Never able to get him on the telephone. He never returned any of my calls. Finally got him on the telephone, and he told me that he was not interested in my case, even though I had almost $200,000.00 is medical expenses. He stated that "I can't get my head around the case". Never gave me a reason, nor explanation of his decision, something that a prospective client is entitled to. What is he trying to hide? What was the rational behind his reasoning? If your lawyer is not going to be up-front with the client, you don't want him as your attorney, as he will never be perfectly honest with you and is only interested in your money. Perhaps the case of a complicated skull fracture was to complicated for him to handle and above his level of expertise. Just what is his level of expertise? Do yourself a favor, seek out another personal injury attorney, one that will take a personal interest in your case.
