Anyone but this guy. Rude and doesn't help to mediate cases at all. Wound up paying $4k for nothing. Had to get an attorney anyway.

Unorganized , gave evidence to the plaintiff lawyer and did not present any evidence to the Judge, refuse to subpoena witnesses FOR MY CASE and immediately file Certificate of Completion before the judge made the ruling. He will not return my calls to fix the mess he created. DO NOT USE THIS PATHETIC LAWYER IF YOU WANT TO CALL HIM A LAWYER !

He was my lawyer when I was going thru divorce about 7 year ago, very unorganized and because of that charged me double on paperwork that I already did. Didnt help me with visitation rights and it cost me over $7,000. 3 months after my divorce I was financially struggling and emotionally destroyed because I couldn't see my kids, so I decided to see another lawyer and when she saw my case I was told that he didn't fight for me. Thank God she fix my visitation rights. Not just he was a terrible lawyer he argued with me when I ask to try to meet in the middle with my ex. If you want my advice dont hire him, there are plenty other lawyers that are responsible. *** I lost everything and even my real estate wasn't done correctly.

I would go to Atty Volman for any legal matter I had and wouldn’t hesitate to refer people to this firm. Atty Volman is no-nonsense and gets right to the point.

Very disappointed in how Atty Volman handled our case. He was very arrogant in and out of the courtroom. He was very unorganized and made us look like idiots in the courtroom. I often overheard other professionals involved in the case speak about his incompetence. Im not sure how he has "30 years of experience" because he seemed to always be lost and making things as he went along. Save yourself lots of time, money and aggravation by not going to him.

I had a difficult post-divorce child custody case, involving the draconian over-reachers at DCF, and my ex-wife. I interviewed 5 lawyers before settling on attorney Volman. Having recently helped a client with a similar, but more extensive case, atty' Volman understood the dynamics of my case. He knew the key players (including the state agencies and their procedures, the judges, and the Guardian Ad Litem), and was solid with the court. He had a good vibe, so after confirming him with his references, I decided to hire him.

He gave me a cost estimate that worked within my budget (A key constraint), and while I didn't give him 5 stars because his emails could be so terse as to be cryptic, they did usually answer my question(s), or, I was able to infer the correct answer. Things went down pretty much as David predicted, and in the end, I was satisfied with our results. If I ever get put into the position of needing an attorney again in the areas where David Volman specializes, I would definitely hire him again.
