I highly recommend contacting attorney Lou Crisci for anyone facing the need to file for Title XIX. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers and we knew that she would need full time care in the near future. At the same time my 89-year-old father was in perfect health and living independently. Trying to understand how to protect my father’s assets while ensuring that my mother would be cared for would have been impossible for me to handle on my own.
