Attorney Chamberlain is a great attorney who always backs up his clients. Bruce unlike other attorneys calls you back and responds in a timely manner. Some attorneys just see dollar signs and charge you for every little thing. My advice is don't go with a big firm unless you want to be over charged and ignored. If you want the only honest attorney in New London who actually cares call Bruce. If you want to ripped off call one of the other clowns.

Attorney Chamberlain has helped me with multiple custody cases. I was very pleased at how quickly he answered my call for legal aid, as well as giving me the best advice possible while building the cases, keeping my interest and intentions at hand. Be very careful who you choose for representation. It might surprise you to learn that some firms are in cahoots with each other (bed fellows) and will shuttle you to the slaughter house. Despite the egregious behavior of opposing counsel, which is contrary to the Rules of Professional Conduct, my experience with Attorney Chamberlain is that he allowed it to continue in the court room, failed to object, and failed to cross examine, present evidence he had in his hand, and advised me that the judge would not go by the testimony and would review the actual evidence. This turned out to be detrimental advice. The judge hastily acted on testimony which is easier than reviewing the evidence.

If you are counting on an attorney to object when lies are flying, to cross examine and question the outlandish statements of the other party or their witnesses, to submit all evidence, to timely conduct the processes, you would be wise to find someone else.

Attorney Chamberlain was an amazing choice for me. I had a very difficult custody case where I lived three states away that had to be adjudicated in CT. He was always responsive to emails and always willing to talk to me when I needed clarity. On the various occasions that I had to attend court he was able to articulate to me exactly what would happen once we entered the court room, hence there were no surprises. This helped tremendously when it came to the nerves that are associated with being in court for custody of my children, SOMETHING THAT YOU DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT NERVES TO MESS UP FOR YOU! I elected to go with a smaller office as opposed to a large practice so that I didn’t feel that I was simply a number or a payment to be had. Attorney Chamberlain was the only one that I could find that would provide me a consult and didn’t mention money while I was states away from CT, his prices are very reasonable and he will get you results. If I ever have to go to court in CT again it is guaranteed that I will have him represent me again due to his professionalism, willingness to communicate, and his ability to hear the desired results that I would like and the planning to get a decision in my favor. If you are looking for a lawyer that will treat you the way that you want to be treated by legal representation, Attorney Chamberlain is your guy.
