Was very disappointed with my experience. If you want an attorney that will go to bat for you then definitely go somewhere else. He's a good talker just like most attorneys are but he doesn't care, he's just trying to get an easy payday which I understand but he's not an attorney that's going to really fight for you.

Outstanding lawyer and services

Was very disappointed with my experience. We hired John because we thought he truly cared about our sons situation and understood how difficult this experience was on him and our family. He I’m sure is a busy man but considering the significant amount of money we were being charged we felt he should communicate better. He often wouldn’t communicate before or after court proceedings with my son (who was his client). When I would call or email it would often take a week or more for a response. But the worst part is when he told me my son would be released from jail any day and I should expect a phone call. He knew we had not been through this before and failed to communicate to us that it was up to the discretion of the jail. My sons jail counselor called me and told me the process takes weeks or months not days like I was told. Then the jail decided my son needed a class so that would mean 4-5 more months. The court process took 6 months and we came out with the same result as the initial offer made within the first couple of months. I would think given how long he has been practicing he may have suggested my son take this class while he was in for 6 months. When I contacted him to clarify why he told me any day and jail told me differently he never got back to me. After multiple attempts and weeks his wife finally contacted me and told me it was out of his hands. I just felt we should have been prepared for the process instead of given false information and hope that made this even more difficult for our family and son.
