Chris and his team are wonderful . They have streamlined the closing process so it is very efficient. They were helpful with any questions we had through out the process , which is why we elected to use them again on the closing of our second home and selling of our first. Chris was very helpful. He was able to explain things to you from top to bottom so you could understand exactly what is going on. He answers all questions you have and makes you feel comfortable. He is very professional and he talks to not just business, but he also likes to get to know you personally. He is a super friendly and very kind. You can tell that his clients are his number 1 priority and makes you feel important. With my situation he was very fast and responsive and got me in a meeting fast which I appreciated because I went to a lawyer who I had called several times for months and didn’t help me at all. This was our first time buying a home in CT. My husband and I had been previous homeowners in WA, but we knew the home buying process was different state by state. When we decided to buy a home in CT, we were told by our realtor that we needed to have a closing attorney when signing our closing documents. We chose Chris because he was very knowledgeable in the VA home buying process, since he was retired military. He made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease while we went through all the closing documents. I had also requested with our loan company that we close on our new home with 26 days, so that we could celebrate our daughter’s birthday in our new home. Chris and Valerie worked together with our loan company to make sure that this happened. We actually closed on our new home in 25 days! I was so thankful. My daughter had a wonderful birthday slumber party. I know it would not have been possible without Chris & Valerie being diligent and committed to meeting this deadline. Thank you Chris & Valerie.

We just closed on our house today and Chris was great! He made sure we understood all of the paperwork and that we were happy with the condition of the home. We brought 2 young children with us and he was very accommodating with the huge double stroller we brought in as well as my 10 month old crawling all over the place. Everyone made sure the process went as quickly as possible (which definitely helps with young children!) while still making sure it was done correctly and that we were happy with the results. My wife and I are just moving to CT and decided to buy our first home here. We were fortunate enough to work with Chris Albanese. Chris has been instrumental in streamlining this whole process from the beginning, from the introduction of giving a quick run-down about the closing process, to the final details during the closing day. On the final day of closing Chris went to bat for us against the mortgage & seller to ensure we were able to get the maximum closing costs covered under our sales agreement. He even paid concessions out of his pocket to the seller which was just WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND what anyone should ever expect.
If I ever do this process again, you can bet I will choose to work with Chris & his team.

I also worked with Valerie and Michelle (both work with Chris) extremely kind, and dedicated team. If I ever sent them an e-mail with a question or request I would hear back within the hour, without fail.

I don't know what a "standard" attorney looks like, but I know what the best one does, it's Chris Albanese.
