Adam Junaid took my case on short notice and was able to win it. It wasn't just any case...it was a challenge that hadn't been won in the Black Hawk County District Courts in the past. He's professional and he knows the law. Highly recommended firm!

I CANNOT warn anyone enough against this place and these people. One of the lawyers offered to do my case on contingency, but expected me to track down and get statements from witnesses myself. So, even though he would have been paid if I had won the case, he was unwilling to use the firms resources or his own personal efforts in pursuit of it. Unfortunately, I am terminally ill, and was therefore physically unable to come up with what he considered a sufficient amount of affidavits in the short time period that I was given. The lawyer then withdrew as my counsel shortly thereafter, while I was hospitalized!!!! In addition, I was still trying, several months later, to get back the materials that I WAS able to submit to the office. I NEVER GOT A SINGLE PAGE OF IT BACK.
Quite a few months later, I tried to contact a different attorney hoping to get some information and a nudge in the right direction about another matter- different from, but related to the first situation that brought me this firm. I had hoped that I had just dealt with a bad apple the first go round. However, this most esteemed attorney did not feel that I warranted as much as a call back. Apparently, a dying single mom with no money or family is not worthy of their time and expertise.

This is worst place to come for legal aid, don't even think about coming here

By far the best attorney in town and Tom is one of the best in the country! Great knowledge base, incredible staff, they won't waste your time. A+ experience every time. Also, Tom came highly recommended by other attorneys, and police, and probation officers alike. Worth hiring, if I ever needed help again, he is the man I would speak with.

Don't waste your money or put your trust into Tom Frerichs. Lack of response to communication, failed to take case seriously, failed to protect the innocent, and failed to uphold the law. Really dropped the ball from what we were expecting from our initial meeting with him. Has a great salesman tactic though if that's what you're looking for.

Not open for new cases. Spoke to an attorney there waited months for a response. Received a response but later found out the attorney was facing disciplinary action. Recontacted and told Tom don't have time. Not sure if the discipline issue was the case or not. Giving 3 stars because there was an attorney in that office at one time.
