I was in need of legal advice, and help from an legal expert concerning a claim I was planning on filling. I was explaining my issue to Maria, of IHH and she referred me to call Attorney Thad Murphy, of Pioneer Law Office, since he is a specialist in the specific law department I was looking for. I contacted the Pioneer Law Office located in Dubuque, Iowa asking if Thad Murphy, or his law firm would represent me. I took all my documents to my 1st appointment/consultation with Mr. Murphy. He was very nice, easy to talk to, & listened with sincere interest. It was obvious to me that he knew every step & stage that would be involved. Mr. Murphy also knew the in's & out's of the "legal system" & what information the court/ judge would consider as evidence. Thad said even though I could prove my case with my evidence, it is unfortunate that my evidence would not be allowed (as "proof") according to the evidence the court will accept. He stated that since my "proof or my evidence" would NOT be allowed according to the court rules, it would be difficult to get a judgement in my favor. He agreed that the court system should allow my evidence. He said since the court's rules will not allow it, I would need to have "court approved evidence". He was honest with me, & explained since I didn't have "approved evidence" at this time, he would not be able to represent me. Even though I was very sad about my situation, I do have to say that I was TRUELY impressed with Mr. Murphy's honesty! Many other attorneys are soley interested in how much $$$ they can get out of you, win or lose. (I learned that lesson the hard way, 2 X's!) Mr. Thad Murphy is sincerely interested in helping you prove your case/claim first, then $$$ second...after winning! I would like to say "Thank You Thad for caring about the public & the law... And, I am SO proud of your honesty & integrity! You could have... BUT you didn't waste my precious time, nor steal what little $$$ I have left. That would have left me broke & homeless. It felt so good to be reminded that there are still good/honest people in the world!!!
