I was 16 and had John as an attorney as a juvenile. Not only did he get me waive into adult court on my first offense , he also didn’t fight to keep my felony off on my first offense. He is lazy and will not put in the time to defend you. He will take your money and high tail it back to his office. I went to school with his kid and he is the same way. Just lazy and will run up the charges on you. His son got picked on all through high school so his dad blames me for it. He is not a professional at all. Just a terrible attorney. If you want someone to take advantage of you this is your attorney . You been warned stay far away from

I hired John Ward as my legal representation regarding a criminal matter and he was the best legal representation I have ever experienced. I will be using John Anthony Ward's office regarding any legal matter because of the excellent work John Ward and his office provides. Thank you John for helping me change my life.

Not an attorney to hire if you want to really litigate a case. He's good at filing motions and such but I think he's too close to retirement to actually care. He doesn't say a word in court when you'd expect him to. Just typing away on his iPad. Ended up filing a grievance with the state because his office would not send me a detailed list of expenditures. Once the grievance was filed, I had the list very quickly! Also has two disciplinary actions from the WI State Bar as of this writing. I didn't know this until after, so that's my fault. Do your homework when hiring an attorney. Overall, better to stay away from this one.

Horrible lawyer horrible business they don’t send you documents they say they do never sent one document with attorney fees nothing I waited almost 4 months to get my attorney fees documents I been done with court every time I called to ask about my paperwork they charged me I will be filling a complaint against John Anthony ward with the state bar and will contact the business bureau and filing on the business for horrible service and rude employees..

I'm telling you Mr. Ward knows his trade. He's the best lawyer I have ever seen in action. I highly recommend this lawyer.

Used him for my divorce. Showed up to 2 court cases and late to the last one. Never reviewed my martial settlement until the day of the divorce. Very unprofessional late, with responses and communicating. Charged me 3800 for the entire case drove to Racine twice for court never talked to him on the phone just the assistant 3 time . He spent no more 8 hours on my case including court and drive time which is 2400. Awaiting my refund

Currently filing a state and national bar associations complaint against this attorney. He sat on evidence of perjury in an attempt to extort $10,000 for a medical specialist. Than walked out five minutes Into a hearing , when I informed him that I had learned of his two public reprimands for doing the same thing to other clients. I have full documentation of his mismanagement and have already contacted state board and state supreme court. My daughter has been stuck in fostercare for almost six months and my fiance is facing 18.5 years in prison because of John A. Wards refusal to do his job.

I hired this "attorney" to help my son through drug court and was promised that once he finished the program that all charges against him would be dropped. My son finished drug court and was such a good participant that they actually graduated him early however they neglected to drop the charges due to an error on Mr. Wards part. When we asked him to clear this up he of course wanted more money. Then when we decided we didn't want him representing my son anymore I politely requested all paperwork associated with the case so that I could pursue a new attorney. It was at this point that his staff claimed to have lost all the paperwork regarding my sons case due to a flood. How convenient.

Point is this practice is a joke. The staff terribly unprofessional and the man himself is nothing more than a two bit crook. You'd be better off representing yourself.

Great representation! Experienced, Professional, Supportive and Fierce! We hired Attorney Ward to represent my husband in a child custody/support case. He had been struggling to maintain very basic visitation schedules with his son because his child’s mother was consistently playing games and refusing visitation. Attorney Ward was able to prove my husband’s case, and we currently have primary placement of his son. That is such a difficult thing to do! Courts are generally more in favor of the mother when it Comes to child custody cases, even when the mother is in the wrong.These are very difficult cases to win. He was very patient with us, and understood well that we were emotionally invested in the results of his case. So, when we had questions or began to feel anxious, both attorney ward and his staff were great with explaining everything and putting our anxieties to rest. We spent the first three years fighting in court and trying to get by with cheaper attorneys, and even went without an attorney at all for a few months. Take it from us, it is much less expensive to just retain a high-quality attorney from the beginning rather than going to a high-quality attorney to correct years of mistakes after the fact! We are thankful that we found you attorney Ward and staff! Thank you for all you’ve done for us.

Terrible. Praying for the whole business. No help with answers

I had been sad for hours and trying to hold back my tears, when i went inside to just pick up some paperwork. I was shown kindness and empathy by a single man who brought up my spirits. I'm young and have never been apart of anything criminal in my life. It is sad that I don't qualify for a public defender yet could never afford a attorney. I've had to borrow the money for which I feel horrible & anxious. However, it is worth it, I listened in awe as John Anthony Ward tore my accuser apart, even though he probably just read my case lol. I don't know how this will end but I feel safe in their hands.

I HAD A CASE WHERE I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE OF WINNING, JUDGES WERE TELLING ME I DIDNT HAVE A STANDING, THAT MY CASE WAS GOING TO BE TOSSED OUT BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE ANY RIGHTS BECAUSE THE LITTLE GIRL I WAS TRYING TO SAVE WASNT A BLOOD RELATIVE. I FOUND ATTORNEY WARD ON LINE AND I CALLED, HIS STAFF LISTENED TO ME CRY LITERALLY BALLING ON THE PHONE I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO, BY THE END OF THE PHONE CALL I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE A CONSULTATION DONE. TERRIFIED AND RUNNING OUT OF HOPE I HIRED ATTORNEY WARD, AND NOT ONLY DID HE FIND MY RIGHTS, SEEMINGLY OUT OF NO WHERE, HE GOT THE JUDGES TO STOP DISMISSING ME AND TOOK OVER EVERY WHERE I HAD FAILED.

YES, IT COST A LOT OF MONEY TO HAVE THE BEST REPRESENTATION OUT THERE, BUT I NEEDED THE BEST TO HELP ME WIN AND WE DID

Worst lawyer ever. The only good thing is good for is to keep your money. Ended up firing him in front of the judge and did not refund my money. Charged me for 12 hrs which he only worked probably 2. If i could give negative stars i would!!!
