Don't use them, I paided 3500. I emailed my lawyer with no response. When I did get an email I received a email explaining divorce law. Which was obviously just a email they send out 2 everyone. It was just spam emails I received which they charge u for. I got charged 4 email and phone calls. Kathryn j eckhardt was not responding 2 my emails or phone calls. When she did it was stuff my wifes lawyer, that told her what we were doing with things. I never meet my lawyer. All she did was reschedule my court date. Didnt do my financial statements. On dec 31 had 2 file a form with wifes lawyer. This form was for my taxes 2 be mine next yr,also other legal issues. Kathryn told my wifes lawyer she also did this. There a horrible lawyer firm. DON'T USE THEM! They will nickle and dime u for whatever they can. That's why they send out those fixed emails. Fired my lawyer after a month and I received a check for $1500. I'm not sure were my service were used. But got a bunch of lies about my case. Waste of money at this firm. Just like I said then u get a number 2 call even more waste of time. Don't use them never went 2 court,never seen her. Only talked 2 her and sent emails cost me 2000. 2 anyone reading this use Brazil@Benske there on 3821 a Howell. Waste of MONEY

You will pay for a $100 initial consultation. Retainer is $2500 or a credit/debit card. Remember, this is Wisconsin and a mother with primary placement always has the upper hand. (My case is in Waukesha Co., and that agency only enhances the dad disadvantage.) C&C will look at your case, however they fall short on creative solutions or a willingness to look deeper into your case than it appears on CCAP. Don't take an arrears case here regardless if it is recent history or old arrears accumulating interest: If mom doesn't stipulate it to go away, it won't. I'd rate a zero if I could. I'm sure their rating would be lower if people didn't fear writing a negative review on lawyers.

Cordell & Cordell provided representation which gained me custody and placement of my son. After a decade of haphazard representation, poor tactics and failed attempts I found an advocate in my attorney from Cordell. She listened, strategized and approached the court with both finesse and aggressiveness which led to a win. Since winning custody and placement over two years ago we have also successfully defended against attempts to take him back - and walked away with child support. My son will now not only graduate high school but is likely to receive a lacrosse scholarship for college. We are flourishing and grateful.

I almost never write reviews but after the phone call I just experianced I feel I have to. Long story short I was served papers 6 days ago, ex-wife is up to schemes and filed an emergency custody hearing. Court is scheduled 3 days from now. My current wife and I have made dozens of calls (each) already trying to find a laywer that can help.
I heard so many great things about Cordell and Cordell I decided to give them a call. The woman that answered the phone seemed very cold and zero empathy for my situation and stated that if your court date is in three days theres nothing we can do for you. I was a little taken back and and said theres nothing you can do? She said yea we couldn't be ready to represent your case in three days. And that was that.
Out of all the calls I made so far it was by far the wierdest most uncomfortable phone call I made so far. These situations must come up all the time and was taken back by her response and havent heard anything similar from anyone else.
I hope this review can prepair you so you are ready and know what to expect so your not as disheartened as I was at the end of the very short conversation.

After a very frustrating 10 months I fired my 'old school' Attorney one week ahead of my hearing because he told me my divorce was going to trial. I met with Attorney Laura Stack and she was able to pull everything together and finalize my divorce at that hearing. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to getting a great Attorney to represent you and Laura is the best I know of! I am convinced had I hired Attorney Stack in the beginning my divorce would have been complete in half the time and half the cost.
